we hired Neal to etch and stain our driveway. He was very reasonable in the price, was on time for the appointment and the job itself, and oversaw the entire process until the final coat applied. My driveway looks so good that I have contractors and landscape architects wanting to know who did this work!!!!!!

I will have Neal back to do my hardwood floors when we replace our carpet. Also, he is going to do my tile work!

I called Neal out and he came on time! Thats right he was on time. Anyways I hired his company to install the floors I purchased at Alpha Floors.

PHF came out to install the unfinished Oak and he and his guys put plastic up over the doorways, took the carpet up and used it to cover the marble, and moved the furniture. I was over whelmed with the way the guys took care of the house. Anyways, they installed about 1000 ft and then came the sanding and finishing. They sanded the floors in one day then put samples of colors down for me.

Over all, I am so so very happy. From the fist time I met Neal to the staining. You can tell that the crew really cares about the project. If I had more floors to put down I wouldnt hesitate to call them back out!!

We had Neal and his crew install our hardwoods from Lumber Liquidators. We had them install 1500 sq. foot on our bottom floor of Colonial Plank and they had it done in two-three days. They even removed tile and installed the quarter-rounds. We love the job they did.

In fact, we liked it so much we hired Neal and his crew again (10 months later) to install slate tile in our bathrooms and it looks great. I would recommend Performance Hardwoods to anyone looking for quality work. Great Job.

Can't wait to bring Neal back to do our stairs. Keep up the good work!

From the first phone call, Neal was incredibly helpful. He walked me through the entire process from start to finish. I had the floors installed while I was on vacation and couldn't believe how fabulous everything looked when I got back. Performance Hardwood Floors did such an amazing job, I had them come back a few months later to do my stairs!

When we had our tile put in the kitchen, Neal and his crew were great! Neal came out and told us about everything, I mean everything. Neal got there about 6 pm and my wife and I kept asking question after question and finally realized (at 9:30 pm) we should let Neal go home. Neal never once looked at his watch or said anything about the time. What a great guy. The next day Neal's crew came out and did the whole thing in two days. We were so impressed threee months later we had Neal and his team put tile in the living room. Our home has never been so clean, Thanks to Neal and his crew.

I was originally a little hesitant to even let anyone come to my home to do an estimate because I was sick and tired of getting the "hard sell" on overpriced contracts from salesmen who don't know the first thing about actually doing the work, and can't answer my questions. I emailed Neal and after reading his detailed, and clearly very knowledgeable response, I was very comfortable inviting him to my home to give us an estimate.

Neal measured everything, told us exactly how much flooring to purchase, discussed flooring options, and layout considerations. He walked every square inch of the job and took notes... His estimate was sent promptly, and was very detailed... right down to the cost per bag of cement to level the floor. He answered my questions about moisture content and subfloor preparation without blinking an eye, he offered design advice, and coached us through the whole process from acclimating the wood, to cleaning and caring for the finished wood floor. Additionally, Neal's company doesn't sell flooring, they just install flooring, which was a huge benefit for me because I could trust that he was answering my questions about the different products in an objective way - not as a salesman trying to sell me the most expensive floor in the room.

Since they don't sell flooring, Neal advised us where to go buy the floor, and called ahead to let them know we were coming. Initially I was skeptical that the deal on flooring wouldn't really be very good, but we actually got a discount for going through Performance Hardwood Floors, and when I compared the price per square foot of flooring from their local supplier to the prices available on the internet, I couldn't find a better price for the same exact floor by buying from internet suppliers.

Neal also personally supervised the work, visiting periodically to check on the status of the job and keep things going smoothly. Israel and Arnoldo did the installation, and they were completely respectful, very competent, and quite honest and trustworthy in my home. It's not often that one can say what a pleasure it was to have a construction crew in their home. We didn't even have to take off of work to be home while they were installing the floors. If I had more flooring to installer, I'd hire these guys again in a second

The guys at Performance Hardwood Floors are great! They were extremely nice, didnt make a mess, and none of them smoked! A very pleasant experience. When they were done the guys did a complete walk through, and I handed them a check, so I know these guys arent subs! I recommend them 100%

Since Performance Hardwood Floors cam in and installed my beautiful new floor, I breathe and sleep so much better. Not only do the floors and stairs look unreal, Neal helped me with the payments. I cant express the gratitude, and cant tell you thank you enough times. Even though Neal did tell me about the dust, it was very dusty. The crazy thing it didnt come from the work, it came from the removal of the 20 year old carpet. Thank you again many many times over for the beautiful job you did. Great Job, Performance Hardwood! I had a small job to do, Neal quoted the price and stuck to it. His guys came in and finished the project in 2 days. Everything was done for me.......simple! When I hired them, Neal told me I would have to do anything else but enjoy when finished. He was right! THANKS

I had a great experience with Neal,Carlos, and his crews. I feel bad that Neal worked the same day of oral work, but he made me feel that important. Thank you guys for covering up all the mistakes Lumber Liquidator made. They had the hardest time getting the trim and stairs in. So after fighting with Derek (at Lumber Liquidators), Neal helped and boy did he. I love my new home. I recommend these guys 100%

When I called them out he was on the spot! He didnt have me waiting 1 minute. Neal said the treads and risers would be finished at the shop. I really didnt understand, but when the day came for my stairs to be done I couldnt be happier. The guys came and finished, yes finished in one day. We could walk on them right when they were installed. I couldnt be happier.

When it comes time to do my upstairs, I will have them out. Where did I find them, you ask? Google, then this review. Thanks NEAL!

I bought floors at Lumber Liquidators on the loop and Wayside. Well the "Manager" Ace, was very very RUDE. If it wasnt for the price of the floors I would have gone else where. Well I went next door and Neal made everything better. He said from here on out I dont have to lift a finger. He set the order up (got a better price), had the wood shipped to my house, did the work, moved the furniture, hauled the trash, and buffed the floors. THANK YOU PERFORMANCE HARDWOOD FLOORS FOR EVERYTHING! If you like the floors at Lumber Liquidators you should go through these guys first!

What a well oiled machine these guys are! Everyone from the helpers to the owner. The owner Neal walked in did a measurement in about 30 seconds, sent it and the guys came out and did the work. I didnt have to instruct the guys to do one thing! I highly recommend these guys to do anyones work. OH one more thing, when they did our stairs the finished them at the shop and then installed them. We were able to walk on them right after they were done. A++++++++

Neal came in and gave a quote on installing our engineered hardwood flooring and our stairs. He told us the only thing we have to do from this point out is get the little things out of the rooms and he and his crew would take care of everything else! MAN! he wasnt kidding!! The guys came in and moved the furniture, picked the carpet up and out, installed the floors the moved the furniture back!!!!

I cant believe how easy they made it seem. The install price is $2.00, I thought that was a fair price.

On the other side the materials I bought at Lumber Liquidators were very expensive, so I was worried that if the guys made a mistake I was in trouble. Get this, I have had my floors down for 2, yes 2 years. I waited that long to make a comment. Thank you Neal, Isreal, and Carlos, I will recommend you to everyone!!!

Even though I got lower bids, I decided to go through Performance Hardwood Floors. I am so glad I did. I cant tell you how smooth it went. I did get 5 bids, he came in 4th, but I love Neals excitement, and it lasted the entire project. The guys cam in and removed the carpet and cleaned the concrete (EWWWWW, that was dirty), and went to work. Neal mapped out how the install would go, and he was right on target. I would recommend them to anyone, it was money well spent!!!!

These guys are so good! Neal came in with a lower bid then everybody, and his guys did an unreal job. His guys went out of the way to make sure we were ok throughout the entire project.

We glued down 1200 square feet, Brazilian Cherry. Now this is why Performance is unique. Neal showed me where to get the best price on the floor and then they installed it. I had guys trying to sell me the wood, but he wanted me to get the lowest price possible.

I thank you for an unreal job!!

What an awesome experience. I found them on Angies List and I just bought a house in the Houston area. Well, I bought the floor from Lumber Liquidators in Houston and they installed it.

I did everything from Emails and phone call. Neal took pictures through the entire project and when I cam home my place was clean and the floor were unreal!!!!

I thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I wasworried about trusting someone I have never met, but please dont hesitate to give these guys a look. They will take good care of you.
