Tutuma Social Club is a place to go back to
by Cristina C.
A friend who saw it on Time Out NY brought me there last night. We got there after the jazz set was done, but there was a dance party afterwards. We decided to stay. it was really fun!
Had the seared duck and calamari, and he had the aji de gallina. We were genuinely impressed with the presentation and the taste. I did not expect a place that looked like this to have food like that. Also had a couple of chicha sours (refreshing and pretty!) and then beer, they were $8 and $6.
I thought it was a good deal, we spent $70, which is about what we usually spend on a night out.

Tutuma Social Club is A RIP OFF!!!
by Carmen L.
I was recommended this place by one of the band members who works there. The portions are so small, i had to grab fast food afterwards. The set up and the decor does not worth the food pricing. Besides that, the waiter who served us was all over us the whole time. The owner and her friends organize several meet up events to drag people there. Please, don't waste your money there and don't get fooled by the positive reviews posted on the Internet. They are made mostly by employees or friends of the owners.

Tutuma Social Club is super!
by Brett T.
Fantastic food. 7/3 reviewer needs to recall this is a tapas bar. Tuca tuca - butter beans and pork ribs was amazing. Ditto for the avacado queen. $105 for three with drinks and we were very full and full of good cheer from the fantastic music.

Tutuma Social Club is a rip off
by C S.
I felt robbed after coming here. The portions were so small I felt insulted. Had to grab a slice of pizza afterwards even though my check was over $160. No decor whatsoever, white walls in this storage space like basement, the most uncomfortable chairs and crammed little tables. Listen, if you want to charge this prices either have more generous portions and give something back to the customers. There are several Peruvian places in the city today, this food was nothing special compared to them.

Awesome Peruvian Resturant

The food was excellent, with a very unique menu and fantastic live jazz band that performs all week. The menu was diverse and the drinks were authentic and delicious creating a very enjoyable night out.
