My experience with Carl Burgers was excellent. I was having issues with my PT Cruiser passing Star Smog test and Jeff Arkin helped me get the issues resolved. Jeff was experienced, courteous and professional. I would highly recommend them.

just noticed that all the reviews with 5 stars if you click on their names, they have written hundreds of reviews giving everyone 5 stars even when the dates overlap. for example there is one where they are at a "5 ?'s" dealership, then that same day or the next day they are half way across the world in san diego buying a car from yet another "5 ?" dealership.SEEMS LIKE SOME PEOPLE ARE GETTING PAID TO LURE PEOPLE TO THIS SHOP THROUGH EXCELLENT REVIEWS. This place is a complete and total rip off. Not only are they Service Managers in this purely for profit, but the Director of the service center is just as corrupt if not more. Stay away from this place at all cost.

Have lived in San Diego for over 25 years , never been to the dealership till yesterday. Never would ever go again.
Crooks and Liars.
Have called 2 different managers , and sent email to yet another Manager , no reply .
Sales man Char Ross made an offer then when I went to sign for the deal changed the price adding $5000.00 to the price.
His escuse was he tried to get me the better deal he suggested.
High preasure, and ver dishonnest.

I went to see what was out there, in no rush to buy and found that they barely had any vehicles that were worth buying. I saw something that was OK. These so called managers, give you veral promises. When it comes down to signing...everything they said that would be done in your favor, goes out the window. When you ask why these amounts are not making sense, you don't get a staright answer. You ask questions about your contract (meanwhile it seems like you are an inconvenience for asking) and financing uses their skills to trick you onto proceeding. Dealerships are usually like this, I know, I have bought several cars in the past. But I have to say, this has been by far the WORST experience. Once they have your business, they don't return your calls. Free coupons for oil changes... I never got. I will NEVER make business here again and will make sure my friends and family never make the same mistake. Oh, and by the way, now that I'm home, I noticed my car is marked $2000 less online than when I bought. I should have gone with my instincts and kept looking elsewhere!

I hate this place they are horrible I bought a 03 Saturn Ion there I was moving in a few months and need a cheep car to get me to Texas they made me seem it was my fault for going in so late it was right around closeing and they seemed so upset that I kept them waiting and giving them a sale. Well they forced me to get an Alarm and GAP insurence. Thank god for the GAP insurence because it came in use when I got into a wreck. The Alarm on the other hand they charged me 700.00 for this yes I know this is my fault but it was my first car and I dint want my dad to help me on this so I was trying to do this on my own. Well I go in a few day later to have it installed. I wait 3 hours even thogh they told me i hour max I ask whats takeing so long and he replays they are backed up just be calm. Well when I get my car I ask why is it the same clicker that I got and not a new one? he said we put the chip in the old one. Well I find out about about a 8 months later the car came with one and the screwd me out of 700.00 agin this is my fault for not being so car savy or reading the manual. I am a very trusting person. Its just the way I was raised and yes this is my fault but it tought me a lesson and I hope this helps all of you out.

Now they say the warranty was "limited" to the transmission and the drive train! They refuse to fix the most important of the problem - the clunk. So why did they fix the stereo and the glove compartment? The managers refuse to take my calls or call me back!

I have written a letter to Mr. Carl Burger in protest of this horrible customer service.

I sincerely hope everyone who considers purchasing from Carl Burger in the future will consider their bate and switch customer service and think twice.

I also ordered a couple of new springs for the back door, and they had great prices every time. I have yet to take my vehicle in there for something major, but when something does happen they will be the first place I consider.

I have purchased 2 cars and have had multiple freinds shop here. When you buy new you get on full year of oil changes FREE! Service is good and will drop you off and pick you up or get you a rental car which enterprise is loacated across the street. Very convieniant, helpful and great lineup.

this is my experience on 8/31/08. I verbally agreed to a purchase price of 16685 on an 08 Jeep Wrangler. I live a considerable distance away so I reconfirmed before driving 75 miles to dealership. Upon my arrival the unit was there and available. Unfortunately the price had changed from 16685 to 18885. I triple checked the price before leaving my house and while driving down I confirmed for a forth time. I am so happy that I did not enter into a business agreement with these folks. Save yourself the aggravation. These are unscrupulous people.

Same boat as their lot neighbor. Carl Burger BLOWS. Carl Burger needs a staff overhaul... some serious business ethics training. Everyone has this attitude like if you arent whipping out a pen to sign, you are a waste of time.

BUYER BEWARE!

The Sales Management tean will promise you any deal in order to get you to take the car home. However, come the next day they call and say you need additional down. I would have never taken the car with this amount down but now I'm stuck with it!

My jeep was brand new and it had a recall on a part. The manager lied to me and said it would be done in the afternoon, when it fact he couldn't even locate the part. They had my jeep for 3 days. Never trust a liar!

This dealership has been in this location for years. Although I've never actually bought a vehicle from them, I have shopped for cars here. The experience I had was always great. They carry a huge selection of vehicles and if you can't find what you are looking for they will call around to different dealerships to see if they have it for you.

I'm not a big fan of Dodge cars however I was impressed with the service. Definitely a dealership to check out if you are searching for cars.
