Fresh Salon

Both my 13 year old daughter and myself had haircut appointments with Amanda recently, this was our first time at Fresh Salon. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the whole experience was for us and we love love love our haircuts! I have been to many different salons in the area and often find the front desk staff to be rude and unwilling to offer any kind of customer service. This has sent me away from a salon more than once. This is not the cast at Fresh. Everyone was so genuinely nice and seem to really care that we have a great experience. The salon is beautiful.

My husband and I both have Amanda cut our hair and Adrena does my color. A winning combination...we found them about 6 years ago do not plan to change!

My daughter had used Nikki for years and lost touch when she changed salons. She was ecstatic when she found her again.. I just moved here and Nikki for my cut and Julia for color were great. The listened to my problems and, then did fantastic jobs. Go Fresh!

I moved here two months ago and was referred to Lani and Lisa by my neighbor. I am very particular about my hair, and was very nervous. Lani gave me the best haircut I have ever had and I absolutely love the color Lisa recommended. I am so happy to have found this salon and these two young ladies. The atmosphere is so relaxing and refreshing, too!

Fresh is a great salon with experienced people! My daughter and I have the "perfect duo" with Kaia and Nikki. Kaia tames our naturally curly hair and Nikki's cuts are always perfect and best of all, they grow out well! Can't recommend them enough!

Thank heavens Nikki moved from her last salon -- I've been going to her for 8 years and definitely didn't want to start over. She understands difficult hair and always gives a great cut.
Kaia does a lovely color job too. And prices are reasonable all around. You won't go wrong with either of them.

One of the he hardest things to do when you move to a new city is to find a great stylist. Fortunately I did and have been with Tia (who cuts my hair) and Adrena (my colorist) for the last 3 years. I even followed them to their new salon. They always make me feel welcome and manage to fit me in for those last minute hair appointments. I love the new salon it's very different- almost spa like. From the minute you walk in to the moment you leave the entire staff manages to make you feel special. They are always on time and never rush you-its not your usual salon. Definitely worth a try!

The concept for this salon is upscale service with a comfortable vibe! I think the owner did a fabulous job with the location, set-up, and staff.
I followed Veronica from a previous salon (assembly-line feel). She is an awesome stylist and I have recommended her to everyone that asks me about my hair. I would assume that any one of the stylists would be fabulous! Great job Fresh Salon!

I highly recommend Tia for styling and Adrena for coloring. I gladly followed them from their former salon since they have been doing my hair for YEARS, and I've never been happier w/ my naturally curly hair! Tia is very down to earth and comfortable to be around. She can do what you want w/ your hair, or implement a fresh idea if you leave the creativity up to her. Adrena is the best colorist, I love the subtle highlights that I get for my mousy brown hair - no "frosted" look like you often get at cheaper salons. I thought Fresh Salon might feel uncomfortable for me if it was too upscale, but it wasn't, the atmosphere was trendy w/o being snooty - very friendly and casual. I must say I'm a fan of assistants not being used (your stylist and/or colorist stay w/ you the whole time). Then there are the extra perks. The decor will actually improve your mood - it's so bright and airy - think FRESH! And the complimentary drinks are a very thoughtful perk by the owner (especially from my son's point of view, who had to tag along for my 1st appointment - but he loved it too - nice comfy couch to hang out on). Overall I am thrilled w/ Fresh Salon. It's a longer drive for me from south of Waxhaw, but definitely worth it. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

We followed Emily from another salon when Fresh opened at the Promenade on Providence in South Charlotte. Fresh is great -- bright and welcoming! And, Emily is our choice, hands-down, for a great haircut or style. She's excellent with any length of hair or style, always pleasant and never one to complain about anything. We've recommended her to clients and family, and they've all been completely satisfied! Having moved to Charlotte from Washington DC where some of the best stylists were available to us, I would recommend Emily @ Fresh Salon without hesitation to men and women!

Emily is a great stylist. I can't tell you how many compliments I get on my hair! Twice today alone ladies have come up to my desk to ask about my haircut. One said "Your hair is always perfect! I just keep looking at it." I've even been stopped on the street to be asked who cuts my hair. The salon is beautiful and convenient - you can't go wrong with Emily and Fresh Salon!

As a new client to Fresh Salon, I was pleasantly surprised with the friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and fantastic haircuts. Nicki offered wonderful suggestions and is a fantastic stylist. She has definitely gained another client and I'm looking forward to trying out their colorists as well. I highly recommend this salon and Nicki as a stylist.

I followed Lani and Veronica to Fresh and am very pleased. I am always able to get an appt exactly when I need it, even if calling the day before. Both Lani and Veronica are excellent and it took me 5 years of living here before I found them, would follow them anywhere :)

I recently visited Fresh Salon for the first time and Veronica cut my hair. I have natural curly hair and no one has EVER done as good of a job as her. I hope to never have to go to anyone else ever again. Fresh Salon was a very pleasant experience of friendly faces and a hip atmoshpere.

The best place in town to get a haircut, etc... Nikki is the best when it comes to cutting and styling hair. She has been doing my hair for about 10 years and she is the BEST and I would follow her anywhere. She listens and will give her opinion honestly.

I followed Veronica to Fresh Salon and I love it! The ladies at the front desk were very friendly. Ali did my color and it is the best ever. Veronica has been cutting my hair for years and I will always come back to her.

I drive from the other side of town every 5 weeks to get Veronica to cut my hair! I would not trust anyone else because Veronica is so talented and she always does a great job!

The new salon is very open and inviting. I have been twice since it opened and each time I have felt welcome and comfortable. The salon is clean and neat and full of life. Everyone is so friendly! It is a nice place to get away and pamper yourself!

I recommend it to all my friends!

Great new salon with an awesome staff. Very friendly, professional and appts are kept to an on time schedule. You have one stylist from start to finish which is great, you dont have to tip multiple people who have finished or washed your hair.
Adrena is the best at color and Veronica is a great stylist.
For a brand new business there are no signs of startup pains. This place is operating as if it has been in business for years!!
They do a great job of confirming appts and keep to their schedules. No waiting!!

I desperately needed a fresh look, and Tia's skills as a stylist provided it. She listened to what I wanted, had an idea for a new style, and did a wonderful job! I have never had a stylist who put the time & detail into my cut that Tia did. She is a very talented person who clearly loves her job and does great work.

Update: I returned to Fresh Salon on Saturday morning to get my base color touched up (AKA roots covered) and to get my hair styled for a wedding. Adrena, my new colorist, is awesome! She is truly a haircolor specialist and fresh thinker, just like her business card says. She used a new product on my scalp to keep the color from irritating my skin. I was left with just enough highlights to make the color stunning, and the new, soft brown base color earned lots of compliments.

I am so thankful to have found Tia and Adrena at Fresh Salon. I totally recommend this friendly, clean, and relaxed salon to everyone! It is easy to find: just off of I-485 at the Providence Road exit.

I am 56 and the past year I have had the best stylist, Amanda. I came to Amanda S. on a referral basis and asked for a style that was "Sassy, Flattering, and Easy to Style." Wow, Amanda did a fantastic job! I have very fine hair and she gave me the best haircut. I have received many, many compliments! Want a new look or to accentuate your best features? I drive 2 and a half hours to Charlotte once a month or so just to get my hair cut by Nikki at Fresh Salon. She's great at styling my hair. It's rare to find such amazing talent.

You can get a great cut from Nikki Prendergast and the nicest color ever from Adrena Sistare!! They have years of experience and it really shows. You need to request them both and you won't be sorry! This salon is very nice inside. They have the best adjustable, reclining seats for shampooing. No more pain in the neck! They have free Wi-Fi while you wait and you can help yourself to great, complimentary coffee and sodas or water. I love it!

I get my hair cut by Lani. I have had friends say to me recently, "This is the best cut you have ever had!" Lani is so kind and she knows exactly what to do. Fresh Salon is clean, organized and the people are very helpful

I was so happy to hear about the opening of this new salon and could not wait to check it out. The best part?My stylist of 3+ yrs., Lani, and colorist of 4+ yrs., Adrena, are both there. I have always been completely satisfied with the work of these talented ladies. They are very professional and I trust them completely. Fresh Salon is wonderful. The moment you walk in the door the atmosphere is refreshing and inviting. The staff is professional and friendly. The facility is very spacious and open with alot of lighting. The decor is very clean and well maintained. Julia does my hair color and Tia cuts my hair. I have such a great time talking to them and laughing for the short time I am there. They are both excellent and very skilled at what they do. I love the random coments from people on the street wondering where I get my hair styled. They are always very professional and I will always be a loyal client. When Julia or Tia are unavailable I have never hesitated to let someone else do my hair. I trust them all and feel very confident in their ability as hair stylists. I cannot say one thing negative about Fresh Salon. Excellent location and very safe area. I would highy recommend this salon to anyone.

My first impression of Fresh Salon was...... AHHHHHH...finally an atmosphere I can relax and enjoy. As a loyal client of my stylist, Lani...I didn't walk, but ran away from her "former" salon and followed her to Fresh. And I am so glad I did. What a difference! ALL of the staff are friendly and welcoming, not snooty with ficticiously trendy attitudes. I had my color by Ali, who did a wonderful job being my first time seeing her. I felt like they offered a lot of personal service, not passing you off to assistants at every turn. And the prices were great comparatively speaking to other salons in S. Charlotte that seem to increase their prices every other month. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Fresh to anyone! Julia has done a great job!

Julia washed, cut and styled my new favorite haircut in 35 minutes, which was awesome bc I was on my on hour lunch time! I ended up giving out 3 FRESH business cards to 3 to people who asked about my hair that same day. I think that says it all! Gorgeous salon, friendly staff, fantastic location, competitive/great prices, and I LOVE MY HAIR.
