Accident and Injury Care, Chiropractic & Massage

I was in a rear end collision on the freeway in 2004 and saw a chiropractor that same day. As long as I went 3 days a week my low back pain stayed "manageable". Over the last 5 years I have seen 4 other chiropractors who suggested similar treatment plans and I got the same results. 2 or 3 days and then the pain was back, all these doctors were offering me was a band-aid for my pain and said I would probably require long term care. I was not ready for that sentence in my mid 20's! I started to see Dr Martin in the fall of 2008 and within weeks I was better than I had been in 5 years! Dr Martin told me that I had an injury that could very easily be healed. He never talked about long term care, he talked about a reasonable treatment plan that would end when my injury had healed. After less than 3 months I was pain free and Dr Martin also suggested I get a back brace for while I work and gave me a set of 3 simple exercises that I now do everyday. Before Dr Martin I was skeptical at best of what chiropractic care could do for me, but now he is the first call I will make anytime I have an injury or knock on wood, another car accident. I suggest him and his office to everyone I know who has been in an auto accident, no matter how long ago or even those who deal with what they feel might be a "silly injury". Dr Martin has told a few of them that chiropractic care is not what their injury needs to heal and had not been afraid to refer to his massage therapists and other local specialists. He is not the typical chiropractor who will take the money of anyone coming through the door. He is the very best!
