209 Downtown Salon & Spa

I recently moved to McKinney and was curious to visit the downtown which was much talked about by my new friends. On my way I saw a Kerastase board in front of a Salon, so I decided to get my shampoo and treatment masque while I was there. To my surprise this small building was 6000sq ft. and 3 floors tall. I was totally amazed to see such a lovely architecture and more so a busy salon and spa even on a week day. Since I had not had a facial, I decided to treat myself to one and luckily they had an appointment available for me :)
Right from the time I entered Priya was very professional and a sweet person to talk to. I liked that she listened to my concerns carefully and then customized my facial. The best part was the facial massage I got. It was Fabulous! I got out of that place an hour later with a glowing skin. I would highly recommend Priya for the best facial ever! She recommended Sarah to me, who is supposed to be the best masseuse. I can not wait for my next pampering session.

I went to this spa for the first time last week because I really needed a deep tissue massage. I have some really bad knots in my back and I can never seem to find a masseuse who will really work my knots. When I got Sarah as my massage therapist, I knew right away I was in good hands (hehe). She was uh-mazing. I told her exactly where it hurt and she made sure to do something about it. She even used hot stones to relieve my back even though my massage technically did not include that technique. All in all I would say that my experience was great and I owe most of it to Sarah.

All I can say is..WOW!I booked an appointment for a massage after reading the reviews and had a great experience from start to finish. I asked a ton of questions as I havent had too many massages before - and the receptionist was really friendly, patient and helpful on the phone (I guess the english accent helps too!). She booked me with Sarah who apparently won an award for best mckinney massage therapist - so my expectations were high. I can honestly say this was the best massage I have ever had - she knew exactly where to work out my knots, and seemed to have a sixth sense when massaged my back - i feel like a new person. I also liked the pumpkin 'bites' and cheese and fruitin the lounge - what a nice touch! All i can say is, try it - i am looking forward to my next massage already!

What a breath of fresh air!
Salon is gorgeous, people are lovely, and the service is just right - friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. My new salon.

I know this place is known for its hair salon but I have to say it is my favorite place in the city to go for massage. The rooms and beds are so comfortable and whatever they are doing over there they know how to hire talented therapists. Every single person I have seen for massage has been off the charts good. And they go the extra mile with pampering including hot towels on my feet and back. You can get last minute massage appointments a lot of the time during the weekend, which is always good for people like me who are not good at planning. I love this place!

I have been several times ... I have had a facial, brow waxing, brow tinting and eyelash tinting. Everytime, I have had AMAZING service!! The staff is wonderful, the building is BEAUTIFUL and the atmosphere is great. I get complemented on my brows all the time and LOVE telling people about the salon.

209 Downtown is a gift!I had experienced a hair nightmare somewhere else, and was referred here by a friend.My hair colorist is so talented. You will also find back up experts and scheduling is easily accomodated. What a great place to go- very professional yet warm and welcoming. I recommend 209 Downtown 110% and it is worth every penny.

Went to this spa for a full body massage this week. It was excellent. I highly recommend this place for your next massage. The massage was performed with the perfect amount of streghth. Neck, upper back, lower back, legs, feet all done well. I still feel refreshed and it's been 2 days.

Thank heavens I found this place! I'd been bouncing around from salon to salon for a couple of years, occasionally getting a decent cut, or a good color here and there, but no place where I really felt at home. I just got so tired of the inconsistency. I'd been admiring what Lexxy had done for a friend's hair, but it wasn't until she got ahold of my daughter that I realized what I'd been missing. I've been going to her ever since and I get compliments almost every day on my hair, something that certainly hasn't happened to me in a long, long time.

Come in, get some wine, a great cut and amazing highlights and leave beautiful. My friend wasn't happy with her color (though I thought it was gorgeous), and she came back and got a free touch-up which made her realize how amazing her original color actually was. I am a huge fan compared to the other high-end salons I have visited in the city.

I had the most amazing haircut at 209 Downtown Salon! My stylist recommended a kerastase treatment prior to my cut. I have been highlighting my hair for years as well as using the flat iron, leaving my hair weakened. The treatment made a remarkable difference! I am so excited I found this salon!

This new spa is absolutely awesome! The location is convenient, the facilities are gorgeous, and the staff is outstanding. My facial was the best I've ever had and I really enjoyed the massage I had with Jean Marie. I highly recommend this place and I intend to go back very soon -- maybe bring my sister there for a little pampering on her birthday!

As someone who has lived in McKinney my entire life, I have tried just about every hair salon in town. I tried 209 salon because of all the GREAT reviews. I can now say I have found a permanent place. From the moment I walked through the door, the whole atmosphere was incredible. Sarah was really good at listening to what I wanted and didn't want. Although the price was a little more than I was used to paying, it is totally worth it. I will definitely recommend this salon to everyone. Oh, I cant wait to try a massage and facial!
