Eating at this restaurant is a fun experience. The guys who serve us are cheerful and funny, almost like a comedy act. If it's your first time, they explain everything to you as they set you up. My favorite is the large order of shrimp shabu shabu. So first, they fire up the soup pot then have you season it using their selection of seasonings. Then they bring out my plate of veggies, which you can blanch one at a time or dump into the soup and boil for a longer period of time. When my plate of peeled shrimps come out, I blanch them one at a time so that they don't get overcooked. The finishing touch is when they bring out a bowl of udon noodles, so that you can combine it with the broth and veggies left in the pot. This is a fun place to go on a date night or with a bunch of friends. This may be fun for older kids and pre-teens who are careful, but I don't recommend it for children unless you don't mind doing the work and feeding them.
