Dr. Hull is one of those people that is so very intelligent and focused on the animal he is examining that he is perceived as being somewhat strange at times, however, I have known him forever (since the practice opened) and he is always thinking about how he can help the pet. I loved Dr. Haywood and she has moved on to her own practice. I always trusted anything that Andrea said - it was as if I spoke to the vet, but she also left. One of the newer vet techs leaves a lot to be desired. Her attitude stinks and she is pretty nasty. She is the sole reason why I have left this practice after so many years. I actually had taken my dogs there when it was owned and run by Dr. Clack and continued when the Hull's bought the practice. I had followed with Dr. Haywood there for many years and when she left I had to have one of my dogs put to sleep and was concerned about having someone other than Dr. Haywood euthanize her....however, Dr. Hull was compassionate enough to slip the bottles of drugs and syringe in his pocket, go out of the room to draw up the solution and then come back in without me seeing the syringe. After she was gone.....he asked if I needed some time with her before I left......I appreciated his caring demeanor. I will miss Dr. Hull, the office manager, Nicole, Jay, Samara, Dr. Lohr, and Ashley, but NOT the one who put me over the edge. I would like to say that I would trust Dr. Hull with any animal I care for.....I just have a problem with being treated rudely by a staff member. I feel as though I am paying that person's salary and should be treated with respect. Yes....the employee is that bad!

I take my cat there. The doctor seems to know alot about cats. He was quick to get back to me about my concerns. The staff was very helpful. They even have free workshops! I recommend them.

After reading some of the posts on here I was quite surprised. I have been taking my pets to the middle road animal clinic for about 12 years now,the staff is always helpful and made me feel at ease when I had the hard decision to have to put my dog Franky down. Dr. Hull is a very smart man and is one of the only doctors I know to get back to me when I have any concerns... my own doctor is not so prompt.

My dog has recently became ill and the staff (not Dr. Hull) have been rude and not caring about how my dog was treated. There is fluctuations in pricing as far as medications are concerned. After 9 years, I will be looking for another office. The staff is the first impression of an office.

I started taking my rats there because it was closer than the vet in Cranberry. I got an estimate for the removal of tumors from my two girls, and who ever called me, was not paying attention, as I did not understand the amount, repeated the incorrect amount, and was not corrected by this person. They wanted $400 per animal. That's more than I pay for rent for a month. That's more than I make in two weeks. I ended up wasting a morning driving up there, only to find out it was going to $800 total. The worst part is, the girls really need their tumors removed, and now they have to wait another 2 weeks for an appointment at Cranberry Animal General. I can have both animals done for under $400 there. I do not recommend them as a long term vet, but rather an emergency option. To price something prohibitivly high as they did shows little concern for the welfare of the animals.

Absolutely the best. My Yellow Lab, Ulf is 15 years old and has been healthy as an ox thanks to Dr. Hull and staff. They have always provided a detailed exam, explained their diagnosis and treatment options thoroughly and patiently. If you love your pet, you'll bring them here.

PROS: See my review
CONS: Absolutely none!

This group has been treating our 6 dogs and 3 cats, as well as my extended family's pets. Always very caring, always aware of new treatments.

Dr. Hull and his staff have treated our pets (and us) with the absolute best care for more than 20 years. Recently our 14 year old Springer Spaniel was struck by a school bus and the staff at Middle Road Animal Clinic cared for him on a daily basis for more than a month. Not only did they see him to change his dressings but they called me evry day to make sure that he was feeling OK. Anytime I call to ask a question, they find the answer in a prompt manner. They never put me on hold or neglect our needs. As a pet lover/owner, I appreciate their dedication to animals and families.

We took our puppy there for her first check-up. I was told on the phone that the visit would cost $35. Her appointment ended up costing us $95 for one shot and a check-up. They didn't even give us our free puppy kit which I was told we would get. I brought the children and the vet was not friendly to them. The kids were actually afraid of him. I would not recomend taking your pets to this vet.
