Yext.comMy fiance and I took our adopted lab puppy (5 months old) to Dr. Brady in early July for a second opinion after receiving a distemper diagnosis from a different vet in Pearland. We were told by the first vet that he was 75% sure she had distemper and to wait for the worst, and he had "never been wrong about his distemper assessments".
Dr. Brady did a thorough examination and used his experience to diagnose her with a much more hopeful ailment - a severe upper-respiratory infection. He confirmed what we felt that it was premature to assume she had distemper just because she had a horrible runny nose and cough for 3 weeks without any other distemper symptoms. He put her on a different antibiotic and within 3 DAYS her symptoms were completely gone.
Dr. Brady is very matter of fact and gives useful information because he is so knowledgeable and loves animals. We definitely appreciated that!
We can't say enough positive things about Dr. Brady and the Stafford Oaks practice. We gladly drive 20 minutes to get there and would drive further if we needed to!
Pros: Knowledgeable, experienced vet and staff, Friendly

I've been bringing my dogs to SOVH for close to 10 years. I live in the Heights in Houston but drive the 20 miles each and every time I need to take my dogs to the vet.
There simply is not a better vet in the state of Texas than Michael Moore. He truly does care about the animals he treats and often interrupts his family schedule to treat a dog.
Pros: competent and caring vets
Cons: Not a single thing

After going to an awful vet in Missouri City, I needed to find a new one when our cat came down with a UTI. I called Stafford Oaks because of the location and multiple good reviews. I was so pleased! I got an appointment that afternoon. We didn't wait at all once we were there to be given a room. Dr Puksta and the staff were understanding of cats fears of the vet and subsequent sassy attitude. Dr Puksta explained everything thoroughly & even researched information for us. We found a new forever vet!
Pros: Price, Location, Dr Puksta
Cons: None

I found Stafford Oaks Vet Hospital one morning when I woke up and my puppy wasn't moving. I was new to town and hadn't located a vet yet. I called a long list of vets and all the others wanted a huge fee for working him in on late notice. But I called Stafford Oaks and they told me to just bring him in, no fee, no wait. My puppy was fixed up in no time and I got regular calls from the vet to check up on him.
I have since moved further away from their office, but still travel over to them, because I won't find such great service anywhere else. I can drop my dog or kitten off before work, the vet will check him out and call me to let me know what's going on. Then I pick them up after work.
They are convenient, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. And most of all, they care about your animals.
Pros: Great Staff
Cons: What are the drawbacks?

I highly recommend Stafford Oaks because of their great customer service and fantastic facilities. My entire experience was wonderful. My cat had surgery there and the doctor called after the procedure to let me know how things went and at that time we scheduled a pick up appt a few days later to go over the recovery. I had a snag at payment because the price I was asked to pay was different than when I had called twice, before the surgery, to obtain a quote. After I complained, they promptly credited me back to the quote I had received and only charged me that amount. I was very impressed by this and I would go back to Stafford Oaks. I recommend this vet highly.

We moved from SC and a friend recommended this clinic. I have met several of the veterinarians and all of them were wonderful and caring. They take their time with you and don't rush your appointment. We can also afford their costs. Check them out!!
