LH Miller Jeep sent me a mailer for a $15 oil change. So I went in. It took them nearly an hour and a half to change oil. (I could have done it myself in 15 minutes tops). But that's not my gripe. The complaint is that just a few days prior to this oil change I had new tires put on my Jeep Liberty, and at that time I took inventory of the wheel assemblies, brakes, etc as I always do. All was fine on the vehicle. At Larry Miller Jeep after the oil change the service writer told me that one of my CV boot covers needed to be replaced. I looked at it and it was cut! Fresh white grease oozing out. Now it may be a coincidence that it happened to tear in a nice straight line at the exact same time as I was getting an oil change, but I don't think so. I think these guys were trying to drum up work for a service department that had very little work coming in. To damage a persons vehicle to make a buck is the height of dishonesty, and I will never ever darken their doorstep again. By the way they wanted like $600 to replace the axle with the cv joint. I picked one up at Autozone for $80 and had a friend change it out for another $100. This is dishonest dealership, and I would advise all to stay away from it. I will have a party at my house the day they go out of business in Bountiful, which I'm sure will happen sooner than later.
