Good Vet and Walk in Hours My dad's a vet but he lives in upstate NY. I come here when I can't get up to see him for free, and the walk-in hours with no fee are awesome. Aside from that, the vet and every other person I've seen here was really competent and friendly. I always call my dad for a second opinion over the phone, and he hasn't disagreed with her prognosis yet. Price isn't bad either.

Excellent care for my miniature dachshund when he got sick last year. After getting our new lab puppy, I am bringing him here as well. Great people to work with as well as the most affordable around. They also don't try to convince you to purchase unnecessary products or care.

This is an excellent place to bring your pets. The staff is very impartial and attentive towards their patients. We never have a long wait time and and the vet also does a wonderful job with the procedure and explaining everything about it. This is my number one choice when it comes to vet offices and I highly recommend it.

This place is really wonderful. My mom and I took our 16 year old lab in for her final appointment and they handled the situation with the utmost care. The doctor was professional and thoughtful throughout the entire process and they made us feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone!

I really appreciate the love and compassionate care Knowles Animal Clinic gave to my little Victor. He's a little Yorkie, and very rambunctious. He must have jumped too fast and landed wrong, because he ended up fracturing his little leg. I brought him in on an emergency circumstance, and they took great care of him. I believe we found our new pet doctor! Thank you very much!

Similar to an excellent physician's office, emergency room stuff, go to the ER, if it can wait a few days go to your personal doctor. If you can spare a few days don't pass up the opportunity to go with Knowles Animal Clinic and book an appointment and get excellent personalized service for your pet!

My little dachshund started walking funny, and I had no idea what was wrong. I took her to Knowles Animal Clinic, and the doctor saw her right away, examined the problem, and explained to me in great detail what had happened. I truly admire the time he spent with me and my little baby. She is now walking normal and is as happy as could be. I recommend Knowles Animal Clinic's services if you love your pet.

I have a pitbull, and she decided to run through a bush of fox tails. A fox tail ended up sticking to one of her eyes, and in one of her ears. I didn't notice until the next day, when her eye wouldn't open. I brought her straight to Knowles Animal Clinic, and she was back to new in less than a week. They did some minor surgery to get the fox tail out of her ear and eyelid. I was impressed with the bill, because it was quite reasonable for what they did. I really appreciate everything this animal clinic did for me and Karma. I recommend this place to all.

I really appreciate how well they treated my collie when he had a bad nail infection! They made sure to numb the area correctly before starting any work on him. That really touched my heart and guaranteed that I keep coming back! Thank you so much.

I will never take my dogs back here again. The staff was so terrible here. They didn't care that my dog was actually in need of services. They just wanted to read me there HUGE list of fees instead of helping me.

I will not take another pet of mine to Knowles in Snapper Creek location. My husband and I took my dog in because he wasn't getting up or was having trouble walking with his hind legs. We thought the reason was that he had a sore by his tail. When we arrived they saw him and said that they would have to draw blood, do spinal exray. The veternarian infored us the dog had a fever and they would have to put an iv on him and had to hospitalize. The sore by his tail was an allergy. The blood results came out as if he would have eaten something he wasn't suppose to. The vet said he probably had eaton one of the balls that fall from the palm trees in the back yard. She said his liver level was elevated but nothing to be alarmed. His lower back had a little of arthritis but not to stop him from walking. We left him overnight and they were giving my dog sterods, for his back, pain killers, and something to lover his liver count. On Sunday, they told us we would have to leave him another day and that it was going to cost another $600.00 at least with all the medications. I said I wanted to take him home and that I would purchase the medications and give them to him. I had to sign a release form and I took him home. They did nothing for him. I ended up paying $1,100.00. I took my dog home and gave him the medication as directed. Monday he was having problems walking but we were helping him. Tuesday he was having problems walking but we helped him. He never stopped eating, drinking water, etc. Wednesday morning he got up by himself and wanted to poop outside so we opened the door and he went to poop on his own. He was walking slowly but on his own. All day he was fine. At 6:15 p.m. Wednesday my dog calpsed and looked very bad. My son and husband called me and told me hurry home. I got home in 5 minutes and my dog looked very bad. We rushed him to the another emergency room not Knowles and when we got their he was pooping blood, had a temperature and was having segiures in the car on the way to the hospital. They put an iv on him, drew his blood and realized that his liver level was up to 600. Later on that night he kept bleeding from his behind, mouth and nose he went into cardiac arrest and passed away. I believe that he was not diagnosed properly at Knowles. I think that whatever he got into or ate he had more of it than the vet imagined and maybe if they would have cleaned out his stomach and reacted quickly my dog would still be alive. Knowles basically just told me when I took him home that I would have to take the dog to a neurologist if he didn't walk in a couple of days so than what happened to my dog and why did he die. We never thought he was going to die. Now we are left without our very loved pet. Ended up spending over $2000.00 and nothing was done to save his life. His viewing will be on Saturday and we are going to have him Cremated and taking the ashes home. Shame on you Knowles and to the Veternarians that don't know what they are talking about. Why didn't she consider cleaning out his stomach. She said he was going to be fine. Why his he dead! My pet was part of our family and now we are all left grieving. This shouldn't happen to anyone. Word of advice: Don't take your pet's to Knowles. And the person that tried sueing and couldn't yes all these veternarians protect eachother and end up saying your dog died because of ? instead of the truth.

Dr. Williams and the staff at Knowles Snapper Creek treat my fur Child like he was one of their own. My English Bull Dog loves to go there, which is strange because most dogs don't like the vet and put their brakes on once they get to the door.

The front desk staff is always friendly and always answers any concern or question that I might have.

I would not take my fur child anywhere else!

Pet lovers BEWARE! This clinic and its medical staff are butchers and refuse to take accountability for their medical malpractice. I took my 4-lb yorkie to them for a medical emergency due to his neutering. The staff advised that his urethra was blocked due to a lodged bladder stone, unrelated to the neutering. They stated that if not removed immediately, he would die. I authorized the surgery and what ensued was a TOTAL nightmare!! I came within inches of losing him. When they removed the stone, they left a significant portion of his urethra unstitched and he was literally urinating inside of himself. Urine is meant to be contained in the bladder and it completely burns and destroys surrounding tissue when it makes contact with it. During the ordeal, I was visiting him every few hours after the surgery and noticed he wasn't responding well...when I asked Dr. Block and his staff what was happening-- they TOLD ME IT WAS NORMAL!!!! I questioned it repeatedly and the answer the same. NORMAL. After almost two anguish filled days as I watch the life slip out of him, I made the ballsy decision to take him from the clinic; trusting my instincts over their supposed experience (by the way, they made me sign a medical release that I assumed all liability) and rushed him to the Coral Springs Animal Hosp. As soon as they saw him (half dead) they went to work. They removed almost 16 oz of urine from his tiny body AFTER they restitched the urethra which was leaking. The urine accumulation had backed up to his internal organs and damaging all the tissue it touched. He was at the clinic for almost 28 days in intensive care. When I contacted Knowles to make them aware of the diagnosis and the cost of the treatment, they refused to take any responsibility or even say they were sorry for the incident. So, I sued them in small claims court. The incident cost me almost total $7.5K! I showed up to court with his medical records, copies of x-rays and a log of what had transpired and Knowles should up with five vets and a lawyer! The judge ruled that because I couldn't find an expert witness to testify against them she had to dismiss the case. BUT, that if I'd been able to find a vet who could independently support my case, she would have ruled in my favor. Unfortunately, ""board certified"" internal medicine-surgical vets are very few in S. Florida and they all know each other. So, they are very reluctant to make any enemies and legally testify against one another. This clinic and its doctors are a bunch of butchers who are highly irreponsible. Their irresponsibility made our family suffer and their carelessness cost us a fortune. In addition, our little guy suffered in their care (or lack thereof) which was utterly painful to watch. I caution you-- stay away from this clinic and warn anyone you know against using their clinic. They are a disgrace to the animal veterinary profession.

Cons: Unethical, poorly trained, unprofessional, butchers

After reading the two previous comments, i can only assume that Knowles has changed its management. I personally went today because my puppy sprained her paw and i experienced pretty good customer service. As soon as i walked in, they advised me that there would be a ""emergency fee"" vs if i had an appointment, which i understood; and after calling various clinics around town (at 5pm), this one was the most cost effective and the one that was actually open 24hrs a day. They were up front with their fees and they even offered financing through ""Care Credit"" (i think that's the name of the credit card). The total cost to bandage her foot, put a spint, sedate her, and xrays was $350. Calling other places, there was a $100 emergency fee, and other places mentioned that their x-rays were $140 to start! Crazy. So yes, i would recommend Knowles Animal Clinic. I was very satisfied with their service.

Pros: Parking, Financing offered

Cons: I took about 2hrs there.

This is the worst experience I've ever had with a vet. My regular vet was too far, so I took my dog to the closest vet I ""thought"" was good. She was really sick. They checked her stool and told me she would have to be hospitalized to live and if I couldn't pay it I had to leave with my dog. The vet tech kept going back and forth talking to the manager as to the price quote because I was crying and said I couldn't afford $1500 for 3 days hospitalization and they said she needed maybe a week stay. They told me it was contagious and I told them I had 2 other siblings at home that might start showing symptoms too and that treatment for all three if need be would be thousands of dollars. My chihuahua's age was 1 yr and 2 months and was basically dieing as the vet tech was going back and forth. That took another hour. I asked them if I could leave $300 today and come back 3 days later with the rest when I got paid and they said ""No"". To put it in a nut shell they woudln't work with me and couldn't even give me a $10 discount!! They were very insensitive. I left my dog there because she needed an IV asap. I left the $300 at 2 p.m. and they said if I didn't have another $500 by 6 p.m. I had to pick her up. I went home and called around. Their QUOTE was the most expensive one. I went back to pick her up as my vet told me they would treat her for half the price. I told them that my vet was 25 miles away, it was rush hour and they were about to close but they still took long to give her to me. I felt as if they wanted me to have to say, ""well, it's too late now, I guess I'll let her stay"". No sympathy at all. As I waited I talked to other people there who also had pets inside and were not happy. I can't imagine the rest of the days what must happen with customers. My dog's 4 hour stay cost $375. Maybe they took long to do more things so they could charge it when I came back saying I was taking her elsewhere. Not friendly, pure business. My dog's survived and are doing good.

Pros: None at all that I can think of.

Cons: Insensitive. Not friendly. Very business-like. Not a caring atmosphere AT ALL! The Parking was not good. I had to park almost down the street. It was a shopping center with small parking lot.

If you are ever presented with an emergency be sure you have an appointment before you decide to show up.My 9 week puppy fell off the bed and broke her hind leg.I arrived with her yelping, and we had to wait an agonizing 50 minutes while other pets with ""appointments"" were let right in even though their case was not even close to an emergency. The doctor then came in and examined the puppy;xrays were then taken to determine whether she had a sprain or a fracture. Before treatment on the puppy we were given an estimate. The estimate was $370.00 including $40.00 to interpret an xray;3 sets of shots each being no less than $30.00 for pain management, and $95.00 emergency fee.Fearing for my dogs condition I signed for treatment and consent for anesthesia.I was told later that the shots they gave her were similar to morphine, and the dog was brought to me very sedated. They told me she needed to be gassed to put a splint on since she was too feisty with the staff.Mind you right before they took her away from me the 2nd time she had already been given that shot that was like morphine. The splint they placed on my puppy was not only too big but covered her backside which did not allow her to poopy.I had to take her the following day again since she spent all day crying. They wanted to charge me a 2nd time to re-bandaged her and place a smaller splint due to their mistake. We asked them to ask the main doctor to waive the fee and he responded ""lets make a hole in the splint in order to be cost efficient.""It did not work to their favor and the puppy had to be re-gassed to fix the splint.I then took her to an Orthopedic Surgeon and his belief was the bone shifted due to Knowles Animal Clinics negligence.I then had to pay for my dog to be operated roughly $810.00.My pet now is great due to the surgeons incredible care.I dont recommend Snapper Creek Knowles Animal Clinic.

Pros: Parking

Cons: Terrible Customer Service, and Negligence towards animals
