I spoke with Monica Fisher about my claim against Allstate. It took me a few months to round up the $399. but once i did I called her and paid them she got on it quickly. The appraisal and inspection was completed in i think i week. Once Allstate got the report they asked me a few questions and sent me a check for $8,900. Merry Christmas to me. I was having problems with Bill Hopkins at Allstate and he told me I need a licensed appraiser to complete a report. I spoke with a few companies and then i spoke with Terry Fisher, the owner of AGA. He seemed like he knew what he was talking about so I signed up and paid him $399. I received a check from Bill in 2 weeks and he stated he had never seen such a well written report. After hiring Appraisal Group of America and a few phone calls to Farmers they sent me a check for the exact amount Appraisal Group of America stated I was owed. A whopping $15,000.. Wow.. I hired Appraisal Group of America after talking to Monica regarding my diminished value claim. I had been talking to Geico about my diminished value claim for 3 months getting nowhere. Geico kept on telling me to get my own opinon but I did not want to spend the money. Well i finally gave up and spent $299 with Appraisal Group and Geico sent me a check for $6,000 2 weeks later. Because I live in GA he was able to write the report, inspect the vehicle and do all the negotiations with their appraiser. Also once i got their report I was very impressed with Terry's credentials. I gave diminished value my credit card to get a report and I never received anything. I had to complete a charge back so I called Appraisal Group of America once i got my money back and hired them ASAP. The fee was $320. and the report was sent to State Farm and within 3 weeks State Farm sent me a check for $6,500 diminished value. The $6,500 was more then i was asking for originally. My car was totaled and Allstate gave me nothing for my $6,000 in upgrades on my 96 Honda. Appraisal Group of America got me a check for my upgrades for over $4,000. when Allstate had given me nothing. The appraisal fee was $450 but well worth it. Would call them again in a minute. Wow, what a great company. I called other appriasal companies in portland and they stated my vehilce was diminshed by $4,000. until i called Terry. He said my vehilce was frame damaged and the insurance company should have totaled it and Safeco should pay me atleast $8,000. They turned in the claim and within 2 weeks I got a check. I had to call the insuranance company to get my money and they fought like hell but gave in and paid me.. Love them.. I have told everyone I know.. Best $300 ever.
