I had heard great things about this place and was shocked by my experience with them. Completely unprofessional, non-responsive and absolutely put money over your pet. If you go to them be prepared to be treated like a credit card and your beloved pet to be nothing more than a product to them...

My dog Mason had surgery on June 26, 2021 at the Tinton Falls facility. He was sent home on June 29, 2021 with a fever, raging infection in his lungs, air in his abdomen, and no antibiotics or pain meds. We asked about antibiotics and pain meds and were told they werent needed. They never even mentioned there was any kind of infection. Did they not know? They should have known! He had a fever of 104! They didnt notice that either!? How could they not!? Hes at my local vet right now, fighting for his life. They said if he survives it will be a miracle. How do you release a dog in that condition, with no mention of infection and no plan to treat in any way!? Red Bank takes no responsibility. They did take $14,000 (yes, thousand) from me, though. To send my dog home to die. I will never bring another animal there again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone.

The doctors are very good--- the one person I saw was able to give me advice no other vet, including the one at AMC (Animal Medical Center in NYC) gave... which worked for years! The one caveat, they are expensive. Be prepared to pay. I am out of pocket about $600-800 every time I go here for an emergency. The AMC is more $$ in NYC, at about $800-1200 but that's NYC. I guess owning a pet and being a good parent to your pet means a lot of money but Red Bank Veterinary has been worth it thus far.

Honestly the biggest veterinary clinic I have ever seen, they run on 24 hours schedule and have great care for exotics. Be prepared to spend money, flexible hours do not come cheap. Though I wouldn't trust my exotic with anyone else!
