I live within 5 min. of them and find the $90.00 service call fee expensive. They wanted a total of $339.00 to replace a part that costs $75.00 (retail, $55.00 on internet) and takes 10 minitues to install. They were fast and I assume competent, but the price has made me very cautious. I am for a company making a profit, but found this excessive.

I've used John's Maytag several times and have found them to quickly determine the problem and repair it just as quickly. When an appliance goes down, you can't afford to wait (the wash mounts, the food spoils). The entire operation is very professional. I would recommend that anyone call them for appliance repair.

I was so pleased with the excellent customer service that I received with John's Maytag Home Appliance Center! Erin was able to schedule a visit within 24 hours of my call for a technician to assess the damage to my washing machine. The service technician, Chris, was very polite and respectful, was able to quickly determine the problem and gave me an honest and upfront assessment. After making the choice to purchase a new Maytag Neptune, I visited the store in Claymont and was pleased with their selection. I purchased my washer and it was delivered and installed the next business day! Very prompt service!
Good customer service is a must for me and I would definitely recommend this company to everyone I know!
