I drive past them all the time. I finally looked online and all of the other groomers had terrible reviews about their dogs be treated badly. I would definitely recommend them!
5A friend at the local dog park mentioned Petsburgh Pet Care to me so I looked them up on Google. Everything there is very good!
5We are 100 percent satisfied with the services we get at Petsburgh Pet Care, we give them a 10 out 10.
5I was new in town and was looking for a new vet. The location of Petsburgh Pet Care is very centralized and easy to get to. It turns out the doctors are great too.
5I take whatever Dr. Holmes says for honest truth. She is a great veterinarian and I like going to Petsburgh with my dogs.
5The building is in a good location. When my previous vet mis diagnosed my cat I wanted to move to a new vet. I was very lucky to walk in and feel welcomed with open arms and paws.
5The grooming staff is great. They are helpful and understanding. I can tell them exactly what I would like and they deliver time and time again!
5Petsburgh is really good for boarding bigger dogs. I have two Newfoundlands and they have a great facility for boarding and grooming. I would recommend Petsburgh to anyone!
5...They belie a rude and apathetic staff which does not seem to care about animals--or their people--at all. Do not be fooled by the shiny building and clean, spacious lobby. The receptionists are awful; they are snooty, rude, eye-rolling vet-tech wannabees who think they know everything. Worst of all, they do not actually care about you or your pet, no matter how they may pretend to.
To wit: I was a loyal customer for well over 10 years. In that time, I had four dogs and two cats I took to Petsburgh for care. I purchased the full battery of vaccinations and pre-surgery blood-work every time I took my animals in; I even got a dental for my oldest dog. In fact, I even took my friends' animals there for their shots and checkups, giving the place my seal of approval. I will not make that mistake again.
One of my dogs somehow got hold of a AA battery and punctured the casing; it was leaking battery acid. I was horrified, so I gave him milk and called Petsburgh. Instead of having a vet talk to me, they gave me the general poison control center number (not even the ASPCA one, which I now know would have at least been helpful). I was on hold for 5 minutes just to find out no one would help me since they only cared about humans. My dog could have died, and my vet just couldn't be bothered. Luckily, I found help on the internet and from facebook friends, so the story has a happy ending, especially since I know to avoid that overpriced joke of a vet clinic in the future.

My experience was terrible. I walked in, wasn't greeted, and waited while other clients in front of me were finishing up paying; the whole time my puppy who is stronger than me wants to explore the whole place. Not wanting to disrupt others at the front desk I waited patiently FOR TEN MINUTES... I still wasn't greeted. While I'm still waiting a woman walks in holding her small dog and goes straight to the front desk and is helped, and taken to an exam room. I'm pretty upset by this point and make my way to the receptionist, who hands me papers as she talks with her fellow employee about her horrible personal life. Let's just say it was anything but professional. Finally, I'm taken to an exam room where the vet was pretty nice and helpful. By the end though I walk back to the front desk to pay $48 to be seen, $32 for a urinalysis, $17 for an antibiotic (one which I already had in my medicine cabinet at home), $13 for his nails trimmed (which they took off nothing bc they said they weren't able to without making him bleed. Which is all fine n dandy, but don't charge me with insufficient work.) The vet wanted me to come back ten days later for a check-up that would cost me another $48. Basically a lack of professionalism, careless individuals, and the price of expenses constitute for me never bringing my puppy back here again.

I just have to write and tell everyone that I have taken my 5 dogs and my parents have taken there 5 dogs to petsburgh for 12 years!! They way they treat animals is like no other!! They offer the best care to all animals. They get their vaccinations, grooming and are boarded there when we travel. My husband and I have adopted two animals from Petsburgh as well. My dogs feel safe and comfortable when they go to petsburgh. We moved to Indy and continue to drive to lafayette to use there services, even boarding...why because they are the best and I trust them!! The boarding is wonderful, the staff is excellent beyond compare and the facility is exceptionally clean. To see my dogs excited when they arrive is easy on my heart. Dr. Holmes works closely with the no kill shelter and often takes in animals that have no other place to go. Out of her pocket she gives them shelter, vaccinations and neuters/spades them and surgery if needed. You can adpot these wonderful animals for a small fee from petsburgh. A special thank you to Dr. Elizabeth Holmes and her staff for the excellent care that all of my animals have received. Thank you for all that you do.
Warmest regards,
Stepanie and Mark Gaby...Allie, Mac, Riley, Annabell and the Schneider girls

My dogs have stayed here a few times and always been treated well. The building is very clean and well maintained, and the staff seems to truly care about your pets. I've also found the price to be very reasonable. A couple of times I've had them also give my dogs a bath before they left and they did a great job - they came out clean and fresh!
PROS: price, cleanliness
CONS: location is near a busy road

I love leaving my puppy at Petsburgh while we are on vacation, knowing that she will be getting excellent care in a wonderful facility. The runs are large, the floors are always clean, and the atmosphere pampers the dogs and cats staying at Petsburgh.
They have a nice large lobby area and excellent customer service when dropping off or picking up your pets. At $17/night, you are definitely paying for the service, but it is truly worth it. They also offering extra pampering time, grooming, and a vet on-site.

I have not taken my cat here to see the vet; however, I have purchased items from their store. The store carries Hill's Prescription Diet brand cat food, which was exactly what I was looking for. The prices were reasonable, and check out was quick. The facility seemed to be clean and well-maintained. The staff was courteous and professional.
