Hi my name is Olive I am a 28 lbs puppy. Here I was on the grass curb outside Nine 75 when the owner appeared from the main entrance 40 ft away telling my master not to have me tinkle on the grass. My master promptly asked if he in fact owns the easement (knowing full well he does not). The Nine 75 owner replied he did, so to spite him I tinkled right there and then, the timing was perfect it made me giggle. Not to the amusement of the Nine 75 owner, he proceeded to use some inappropriate language. I think he could have handled this situation differently. Most good and high end restaurants set out a water bowl on the grass curb signaling a positive attitude towards potential customers. My master has decided not to set foot in the Nine 75 establishment, and hope other dog lovers will follow his example.
Lots of love,
Olive

I LOVE Nine75~ Thanks to the new ownership for coming in and saving such a fantastic place. Parking is easy, the crowds are hip and fun, and the menu is very creative and delicious! (I recommend the surf and turf sushi roll) It's the perfect place to go after hitting up a downtown happy hour. I must say that last nights trip to Nine75 has made me a big fan. From the clean and stylish ladies rooms, to the throw back music, the decently priced wine selection, and of course our wonderful server...Jay "PIMP". (I told you I'd put you in this write up!) GO TO NINE75...It's fantastic!

I came into nine75 not sure of what to expect. Seeing the restaraunt on my way to work i finally stopped in for dinner and must say the experience was all around fantastic. Our server's name was Dax and he made sure that all our needs were met and then some. The music was a nice mix with the ambiance and our food was outstanding. we were in a rush to see a movie that night but got so caght up in the atmosphere and wine that we ended up staying. I will deffinately be going back very soon to show off my new diamond in the ruff restaurant to my friends. It's a great place to go with a large group, or just my wife and I. Thank you to the nine75 staff for making our anniversary a memorable one.

It is about time that a reputable dining experience can be had. You'll find the food without a doubt addicting and I would suggest bring your friends because the food should be shared. Afterwards we hung out in the back area with our wines and enjoyed some plush couches......If you've past 975 Restaurant..you've gone to far!

Nine75 is delicious. I went last week for the first time and was surprised of how much I enjoyed the comfort food. I really liked the fried scallops on a stick. They were delicious, especially dipped in this sweet sauce I had. The bar is really nice, and so is the hot barback haha

My girlfriend and I went there recently after I had not been in a year or so. The food was amazing. I thought it was a great date place because the food was affordable and the atmosphere was great. It was fun and lively with a great bar. I really liked that it was nice but not stuffy like some other restaurants. I will be back very soon.

I am from the south and miss southern cooking. I was thrilled to find nine75 offers the comforts of home. At the heart of downtown Denver, nine75 is at a convenient location for me to enjoy a drink and watch the game in the lounge or grub on some meatloaf(never liked meatloaf before having theirs). The tacos are little bits of heaven, as are the kobe beef sliders. I highly recommend nine75 for dining and/or lounging!

My girlfriend and I love coming here! We can go there dressed up dressed down and still not feel out of place. Most importantly the food is soooo good! When they say comfort food, it really is. I feel like its a piece of home cooking but with the experience of going to dinner still. I recommend everything and i mean it. My fav is steak tacos followed by the meatloaf then capped off with either the milk n cookies or the cotton candy!!!!

My boyfriend and I have very different tastes in food and picking a place we can both agree on is VERY dificult. I order the edamame and they were fantastic! Even my mac and cheese/ non experimental boyfriend loved them. I finally found a way to have him come to sushi with me. Yay!!!
My boyfriend cant get enough of the chicken and waffles. We know have a place we can enjoy together.

I heard Nine 75 had new Management so I went in to check it out. My Servers Name was Dax, He was great. He reccomended the Mahi Mahi Club for lunch with a starter of French onion soup. OH so good. The price was reasonable. Even the chef came to my table and asked if I was enjoying my meal.

Nine 75 provides excellent service and amazing food! They keep my favorite items and rotate in new items to keep me exposed to culinary art.
My favorite, by far, will always be the chop salad. I could eat that every day & sometimes do!
This month they are a part of the culinary series & the dishes served are delectable.
My gratitude goes out to the staff for always making it a fun environment to visit!

I've worked in the biz for many years, in every capacity from busser to manager. And this, to date, is my worst restaurant experience ever.
We heard nine75 was under new ownership and were excited to check it out, "Comfort food with a rock 'n' roll twist".
First, we sat down and ordered a bottle of wine and an appetizer, duck empanadas. The wine took 20 minutes, and the server did not open it correctly.
The appetizer never came.
Then we received our entrees, buttermilk fried chicken and waffles and artichoke and mushroom puff pastry. The chicken was drier than any
junky cafeteria's and the mushroom and artichoke puff pastry was just that. Mushrooms, artichokes, puff pastry, nothing else.
Where's the rock 'n' roll?
To cap off our evening, we decided to try dessert and give nine75 a chance to redeem itself. We ordered the Build you own cupcake and recieved a dry, out of the box, cake mix cupcake with a delicious chocolate covered GUMBALL on top? Gross. We also ordered the caramelized apple cobbler and recieved canned apples with cinnamon. No cobbler, no caramelized anything. Just canned apples with cinnamon.
There was a private event going on at the bar, trophy wives and the men who sleep with them. When the crowd of skanks emerged from the bar and were seated in the dining room, we didn't see our server again until he tossed us the bill 20 minutes after we finished dessert.
The final straw was when one of the guest's from the bar party wheeled a scooter through the restaurant with the headlight blinding us and beeping the horn.
What a lovely way to end the evening.
We will never, ever be back.

I drove by today and was thinking about meeting someone later in the week at nine 75. Super menu in the back for happy hour. Nice healthy food that wasn't your typical bar food. Just nicely done.

The restaurant was super too. I'm sad so many Denver restaurants are closing. Sparrow, Wolfie's, Palomino.........Bummer.

Good bye Nine 75.

The studio where I take pole dancing recommended this restaurant for larger groups. They refer a lot of bachelorette parties to this restaurant and I can see why! My friends and I threw a surprise birthday party/dinner event for a friend of ours who was turning 30! Not only was the staff accommodating in terms of catering large plates of appetizers and main courses for us to divide, but they offered us a few different options in terms of where we could dine and possible menus. Everyone in our large group of 12 had a very enjoyable experience. Great food, ambience, and staff! Very fun atmosphere.

I am normally not one to go for anything fancier than a diver bar, but this is by far and away one of the coolest places to go for awesome food and fun people of a wide variety. The staff is humorous and efficient. The food is AMAZING!!! Many complain it's over-priced, but I figure it's right on par for the type and quality of the food itself. My favorite thing about Nine75 is by far and away how relaxed and helpful the staff is. Anytime that I need something it seems like someone is right there and anytime that I have a question they never make me feel silly for asking. I find that rare in many places of the same caliber. If you aren't ready to shell out a bit more money than your local hole in the wall, don't go here cause you're cheap. I personally think that the atmosphere makes the extra money worth it.

Nine75 is an amazing restaurant that provides an experience that is gastronomical to say the least... From the hostess to the wait staff everything was finely tuned. I had the mango mojito which was quite simply the best mojito I've ever had. The miso black cod is a must have with it's velvety sauce that melts in your mouth. One other nice thing that Nine75 is doing is a promotional wine discount that gives you half off every Wednesday!

So we show up on Monday night not knowing what to expect from our first experience at NINE75. We had heard ALOT of good things about the food, service and ambiance, but in person it was even better. We started off with a few drinks from the bar area (I had a great Mango Mojito (one of their signature drinks!!) and Bobby had what he called "the best" APPLETINI he had ever tasted) We had some of the EDAMAME and contemplated just eating our whole meal in the bar (you can have a full dinner back there and they have great comfy seats, couches, and other nooks and crannies to get away from it all !!) but alas, we decided to give the whole restaurant a try and we made out way up front to the dining room for our meal. Our server was extremely personable and really cool, he talked to us like human beings and gave us great recommendations on the bottle of wine we ended up choosing (Far Niente Cabernet, sorry he told us it was the last bottle!!! but it was so amazing!) and all of our food choices we went on were all recommendations that proved to be out of this world. The food there is so good, "comfort food with a twist", I think, was there slogan and it rang true for almost everything that we had. The Sushi was better than at most sushi restaurants that I have eaten in, and the GARLIC ROASTED RIBEYE that I had was to die for and Bobby stuck to eating small plates (sushi, calamari, lobster taco's and asparagus (it had truffle oil on it people!!!) and was ecstatic about it all. All in all it was one of the best dining experiences I have had in Denver and will be back again and again. Thanks to everyone there that made this night an enjoyable experience for the 2 of us. A+++++

having just moved back to Denver, I was happy to find Nine 75!

from the hip decor to the rock music and the quirky food, I knew I was in for a treat. Service was attentive and personal even though the restaurant was packed, we were lucky enough to snag a table even though we forgot to make a reservation.

Kudos to those at Nine 75 for offering a unique dining experience amidst the long line of bland and boring eateries that make up much of the Denver landscape...will be back, promise!

I just moved back to Capital Hill and found a dining goldmine! My friends and I went into nine75 last night for a birthday and were blown away! I can't believe it was our first time there!! We sat in the dining room for dinner- the food and the service was unparalleled! The servers- which were all fine looking men- I might add- were spreading good energy all over the floor! The martinis were fantastic and the small plates were perfect for sharing! We had our fill and made our way back to the swanky lounge area- They offer Happy Hour drinks all night on Thursdays!! What a cool setting with ambiant lighting and low leather couches- such a great atmosphere!! We will definitely be back ( on Thursdays) !

We had a group of nine and our server, Vince, obviously knew he was going to get the mandatory 20% gratuity. His service was the poorest I?ve ever experienced. The food was average, but arrived cold. We waited 20 minutes to get our drinks and Vince didn?t even get the order right so it was another 20 minutes to fix the drinks. We had placed a reservation and were sat at a table designed for drinks only. There were two people to a chair and the table was about 2 feet off the ground. I will never go back and will tell everyone I know not to visit. If they keep this type of service up I expect to see them out of business in a year or less.

Based on its prices and chic image, I expected this place to have excellent food and service. Though we had a dinner reservation several days in advance, my party was seated at a cocktail table in the bar area. We did not get menus until we asked for them, and then we were given two for a party of nine. Drinks were scarce. Finally, I could not get a glass of water to save my life. We had perhaps the most inattentive waiter I've ever seen. Refills on cocktails were few and far between, and every aspect of our service was abysmally poor. I do not exaggerate when I say that service is superior at any fast food restaurant, diner, Denny's or IHOP.

With regard to the food, it varied from average to poor. When it FINALLY began to arrive, portions were small and loaded with filler (greens, rice, potatoes). Our calamari had very little actual calamari in it. It was more like a mixed green salad with a little squid on top. The spring roll was almost entirely rice with soy sauce on it - uninteresting and stupidly overpriced. The flank steak came in a tiny portion covered again with a pile of mixed baby greens. While some of the main dishes were actually hot, half of them arrived tepid. The $16 meatloaf was horribly overseasoned with salt. This situation was aggravated by the fact that my beer was gone and I couldn't get a glass of water. I am an excellent cook, and I have impeccable taste. The cooks in this place need to be replaced. They don't have a clue what they're doing. Again, the food really is better at any fast food place, etc. There you get what you pay for.

The wine list was astronomically overpriced, with the wines I recognized marked up 350-400% over retail. Even in a restaurant this is ridiculous.

To add insult to injury, there was a 20% tip added to our very large check rather than the customary 18%. Our server made over $30/hr. on our table alone doing next to nothing.

This was one of the worst dining experiences ever. Don't go to this place.

Cons: Poor food and service, gouger pricing

My husband and I went to Nine 75 to celebrate my birthday. It's definitely the "hip" place to be and not so great for a romantic dinner. Our booth was right across from a fairly disturbing portrait of Keith Richards, while perhaps a great piece of art (?) it's extremely unappetizing. The food was average. The chopped salad was fine but nothing unique or special about it. I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken and the best part of it was the mayonaise dipping sauce, other than that it didn't have much flavor. My husband enjoyed his dishes, a twice-baked potato and the lobster taco appetizer plate. The service was uninspired. When we first sat down, our plates and glasses were sticking to the table and there was dirt on my napkin. It took a while for someone to acknowledge our presence and then I was served the wrong drink.
We had a pleasant enough time, but won't return and won't necessarily recommend it. I got the impression that the bar area in the back was the place to "see and be seen" and that some folks get a kick out of the communal table that looks right into the kitchen. So if that's what you're looking for then Nine 75 is it.

The ambiance was hip, but the food failed to impress. The appetizer platter came with shrimp and mango sushi, duck spring rolls, and seafood tacos. The sushi had that grocery store old rice taste, the spring rolls tasted like they had been frozen, not prepared fresh, and the seafood tacos were a worse version of the delicious ones at Zengo. We thought the platters had likely been prepared in advance since everyone getting the restaurant week menu gets them, so maybe ours had been sitting around for a while. The mahi-mahi entree was the highlight of the meal; a fresh fillet, properly cooked, with julienned vegetables and a tasty asian sauce. The beef short ribs were good, but undistinguished. The desserts were their version of a twinkie and a s'more. The twinkie tasted basically like a twinkie, but with a richer filling. I thought it was terrible, but I guess some people like things like that. The s'more was good except for an overpowering taste of Hershey's chocolate sauce, which in my opinion doesn't belong at any high end restaurant.
I think Nine 75 is a cross between Zengo and Ba ng!, but either of those are significantly better.

I visit nine75 several times a month and consistently find the restaurant clean and the food superb. I recommend the Mahi-Mahi and the Kobe sliders.

The food, the drinks, the service we are fantastic! This was my first time there and I was very impressed with the entire place. We had drinks at the bar prior to dinner, great atmosphere! Definitely do the valet - parking is a little hard to find on a Friday night. Will definitely return!

For my birthday I was excited to try something new and picked nine75 as my restaurant. I sent out an Evite to get an idea of how many people to expect at my table and then went to make my reservation. I was a bit taken aback when I came to find that I was required to provide my credit card to secure my reservation (not too terrible) but for each person that did not show for my dinner party I would be charged on MY credit card $20. When i expressed concern regarding this matter they kindly apologized but stood by their "company policy".

The atmosphere is fun and I liked the 'open kitchen' feel. The host and wait staff were all very friendly and the service was good....not great, but good.

I was with a large group and the chefs offered to 'order for us' and provide us with a sampling of their 'best offerings'. Others in the group went for this, a few didn't. I was VERY glad I didn't go with the 'offering' since in retrospect it seemed a ploy to really hike up the bill. I had the tomato/mozarella salad (decent sized), lobster tacos (tapas/small) and a glass of wine....around $50 for my dinner with tax and tip. It was tasty, but very over priced. Those that let the chefs select their meal ended up shelling out about $80 a piece....OUCH.

The two things that really did it in for me though were the ladies restroom, which was a disaster (paper towels all over the floor, no soap, floor wet in multiple spots) and the fruit flies which were everywhere...back by the bar and at our dinner table. These last two things really are unacceptable....a manager should always make sure someone is doing regular restroom checks. The fruit flies? To me that just say 'not clean'.

Cons: Over-priced, not particularly clean

Love their food, the service has always been great. One time our waiter had the smallest attitude but I let it go because the food made up for it. I love the cucumber water and when my boyfriend didn't they had no problem getting him a glass of normal water and when he ordered a gin martini only in a rocks glass with no ice and they brought it to him with ice they had no problem fixing the problem (my boyfriend is kind of "that guy" sometimes). I just love it love it love it.

With its sleek decor, eclectic menu and rock n roll theme, everyone's sure to find at least something to obsess over at this Golden Triangle favorite. They like to think of themselves as serving American comfort food with a jazzed up twist. Others agree. It's impossible not to rave about the spicy Mac n Cheese ($6), or the Kobe beef sliders ($15). If those are too crazy for you, stay on the signature side of things and try the Miso marinated Black Cod ($23) or the Lobster Tacos ($12).

Pros: Service, Ambience

I came here around 6pm on a Saturday night. If you come that early, you probably don't need a reservation. We ordered the fish special for the night. None of us ordered any side dishes because the waiter failed to inform us that none of the dishes came with any sides--not even veggies or a bread plate for the table. The food was delicious, but the quantity of food was lacking for what we paid. Service was good (other than failing to inform us of the lack of sides with entrees). The decor of the restaurant was interesting. I didn't necessarily have a bad experience, but I probably won't come back for dinner. The quantity of food just wasn't worth the price we paid.

I really like this place. I've been here for dinner three times now, and I hosted my birthday party in the back bar. The food is really great, although the menu is absolutely ALL OVER THE PLACE. It really defies logic, but thankfully, everything I've had has been terrific. The mini tacos were the huge favorite at my party and the California Roll sushi item is unique and tasty. You really feel like the chef has put a lot of pride into the food you're eating. The bar in the back is super slick -- makes you feel like you're in Vegas or New York. For dinner, I recommend the booths that line the wall between the front dining room and the back bar -- they actually feel rather intimate. Service is good (not amazing, but good). Nine75 is a terrific downtown alternative to DOWNTOWN. Parking is easier to find, and you get all the "cool" of a more downtown location. If you plan a group gathering here, be sure to INSIST that you get the "couch area" at the back of the bar.

Atmosphere is strange - sort of a 1980s nightclub. Loud 80s pop music and garish decor. Service was very good. The menu is eclectic, which can be good, but I thought the food was mediocre. The lobster tacos were good, not great. The jarring thing is the price. Way too expensive!

In general, would avoid. If you want comfort with an updated twist, go to Steuben's. Table 6 is another good option with better food and atmosphere.

Good combination of lounge/bar and fun restaurant experience. Interesting menu, tasty dishes and reasonable prices for a trendy place. We have always had great service and timely seating. From a diner for two to a Birthday bash for 22, we have always enjoyed the variety starting from oysters as an appetizer to a meatloaf for main course. If you are up for a variety comfort food, 975 is the place to check out!

Talk about fun! We had been hearing about nine75 for some time now and finally made it there. After hearing about the concept and the journey that is nine75, our server suggested letting her
do the ordering for us. Without hesitation we all handed in our menus. For the next hour we were served perfectly paired plates of the most amazing food.

My suggeestion-get there quickly, take advantage of the knowledgable staff, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!
