I second "collierhills" review of their billing procedures. I've been round and round and round with them regarding my bill. While assisting me with an appeal to the insurance company, THEY STILL SENT MY ACCOUNT TO OUTSIDE COLLECTIONS! Don't waste your time because even if you happen to get a nice doctor, you'll have trouble with the billing office. Awful! Awful! Awful!

I have read some of these reviews, and i wonder if they are talking about the same doctor! Dr. Biggs has been more than amazing and attentive to me in a very difficult situation. I just want to sing her praise, and say I have absolutely zero complaints! I would recommend her to anyone, and have recommended her to friends and actually found her through a recommendation from a friend.

When I was pregnant, she told me my baby was going to die or I was going to have a still born because I had gestational diabetes.

I've read several reviews online (different sites) regarding Dr. Biggs. In each one(good or bad, although more were bad) the person said they ended up with a c-section. Dr. Biggs delivered my baby, and as much as I wanted to try a natural birth, she was against it from the start, and I not only ended up with and epidural, she said I needed a c-section. I wouldn't say my birth experience was bad, but it wasn't exactly wonderful, until I had my baby and just forgot about everything else. So I'm just curious, has anyone had a natural/vaginal birth preformed by Dr. Bigss? or is she pushing everyone into meds & c-sections?

The person a few comments down sounds like he may be a little ticked off that his wife did not give birth naturally with no meds. Dr. Biggs delivered both of my children and she is very warm and inviting woman. Not everyone can deliver naturally. I tried and she let me try until she had to make a call on a c-section. My first daughter was not budging one bit. Anyway, all the doctors at this practice are comforting and very knowledgable women. And where else can you find a practice will all women doctors?! I prefer that! I have always had a doctor from the practice visit me BOTH times after the births of my babies more than once. I have always had a great experience with every doctor at this practice. To this day, I still continue to see them annually.

Pros: Great nursing staff and doctors.

Cons: Have to pay for parking...but you have to everywhere else anyway.

I am a busy professional and not a person that takes time to write reviews. But I think the public should be aware the front office can be rude. I have now been rebilled twice for services that were already paid in full. Also they tried billing me for a different doctor for the same treatment. The accounting in this practice and office management does not make it worth visiting the doctors. You have to spend so much time on the phone to try to get them to get your account straight. They even sent a bill already paid in full to an address I had not lived at for four years. They never updated their records.

I would not use this practice because the customer service on the administrative side is very poor.

Dr. Vanessa Biggs of Atlanta Women's Ob/Gyn delivered our first child this past weekend, and our experience with her was unpleasant at best. I gave the overall practice three stars, but Dr. Biggs deserves ONE star only. While Dr. Biggs performed competently, her lack of professionalism and bedside manners was appalling!

The FIRST thing she said to my wife (who was trying for a natural birth) upon arriving was, "You can't make it without an epidural!" My wife had already made it to 8cm+ dilation without medication at that point , so it's not as though she was still at the beginning of labor. Dr. Biggs also mandated that my wife stay in bed at all times, making her labor much more difficult.

If Dr Biggs sincerely believed what she said, she still could have used more encouraging words. Dr. Biggs followed up her initial comment by accused me of putting my wife up to this, when a natural birth was my wife's own desire (as stated in her birth plan) from the beginning!

After the delivery (which ended up as a c-section after Dr. Biggs pushed the issue), Dr. Biggs never visited or contacted my wife to follow up, nor did anyone from her practice.

You can find plenty of physicians of every specialty that possess both the knowledge AND the bedside manner to take care of their patients effectively. It's unfortunate that Dr. Biggs is not among them.
