Just ate here last month (June 2008). This place was awesome and not too spendy, upper average. I ordered Prime Rib, Ceaser Salad, and Smashed Potatoes. I was very impressed. This after eating at a very expensive steak house a week

We visited this restaurant years ago & it was fun. Not so on our last visit (July 7, 2007).
Service was terrible. We had a 5:00 reservation & were kept waiting for 20 minutes, while walk-ins were seated ahead of us.
Our hostess was rude--she hurried ahead of us when seating us & we actually lost her in the maze that is this restaurant.
Our server was also rude. They used to do a cute colonial thing here--- they spoke like it was colonial times--great for kids--but not anymore, our waitress was short with us and never smiled during the entire dinner.
I wish I could say the food was worth it--but it was awful. The shrimp tasted freezer-burned & the burgers were charred to a crisp.
It is an expensive restaurant & you pay for charm, which was lacking on this visit.
On our way out we expressed our dismay to the host--who replied, "well, its not like any of you tourists will ever be back anyway.!"
There isn't a lot to choose from in gettysburg, but avoid this place!
