After an initial call, they came out immediately for an estimate. The cost was reasonable and the work was done just as I had hoped. The gardeners wanted to please and showed skill in their trade. Thank you so much for their referral.

Cheapest quote by far. Got the job done. Customer service isn't exactly polished, but is fine. They broke a basement window during the job, but promptly replaced it. We were happy to compromise slightly on service for a cheaper price.

Had trees removed and trimmed. Overall, nice people and a pretty good job. The yard was left a little messy. I had to stack my own wood from one of the trees that was removed (other one was stacked?). They accidentally knocked down my cable wire with the bucket truck, reattached it, then said they didn't knock it down. Sort of odd and now I have to have the cable folks out to attach it with something other than a zip tie. I mostly likely will have Ballard Tree back to do more work in the future though -- the price was right and it was mostly a well-done job, and like I said, really nice people.

Ballard tree service was available quickly. Greg was a nice guy and gave me a fair price. The work was completed promptly and on schedule. However, they left several things in my garden disturbed. Stepping stones were moved and not reset and bed edging was moved and not reset. I would work with them again, but I would specify the areas had to be returned to the previous condition. Probably a good idea with all contractors.
