5 Stars: Eye candy for plant lovers! (by by ahab1 at Citysearch)

The Arboretum is a paradise for those with a need for green. What a delight! It has such a wide variety of amazing trees, shrubs, flowers and a good squirrel population to boot. Perfect place for picnics and daydreaming.

4 Stars: Midwestern Musings (by by BillHenderson at Citysearch)

I visited the park while attending a convention, and found it very satisfying. Well-kept, with nearby parking and clearly worthy of a visit, even on a crowded agenda. Probably the most unique feature is the small Japanese garden, with twists and turns, to give you a unique experience, if you're not from an area where this sort of park exists.

5 Stars: a serene haven...with trails (by by moderngypsy at Citysearch)

Although it's split in two by a rather major road, the Arboretum still manages to pack a huge punch in this urban setting. Amazing displays and collections, a Japanese Garden (priced separately), and a learning center. Rentable Canoes for $6/hr. Just a fabulous place.
