A super big thanks to Dr. Knox (Radiology) and Dr. Goodwin (Cardiology). They are kind, gentle, and thorough. They clearly love animals. If your pet as at a point where a specialist is needed you are likely super stressed and concerned.

I have had two experiences with two different animals at this "clinic". Both have been equally horrifying. That they can even legally charge the fees that they do is unbelievable, and even after paying for high cost exams and x-rays, ( $189.00 for ONE X-RAY), still no results. Both times my pets were taken there they received very cold-hearted treatment, and the first, I'm pretty sure was overdosed on a HUMAN drug. She had to be taken back a half-hour later and euthanized. The second was CLEARLY dying and needed to be euthanized but was, like the first pet, given a human drug and sent home to suffer through the night. I luckily have a very kind veterinarian who was able to help our pet the next morning and euthanize him to end his suffering. The vets there seem to be sub-par, and I've been told that they work on commision. Remember that point if you ever have to take your pet there. They try to get you to pay for an entire menu of tests that may be unnecessary. If I ever have a pet that chooses to die over the weekend or after-hours, I'd rather deal with it somehow on my own than let anyone in that building near a living thing again. They should lose their license.

Pros: tv in waiting room.....

Cons: Too many to name.

My cat was having lots of strange symptoms and started to get a fever so I rushed to the animal hospital hoping for some answers. They suggested some blood tests, which I figured would be the case and they also did an x-ray. Then they started suggesting lots of other testing and for someone who loves their animal what are they going to say? No? So with all the tests they suggest my cat may have asthma but may need to come back for additional tests. This is after 4 hours of sitting in a room alone with my husband. They also said the liver looked a little enlarged but may be due to the cat moving. So instead of redoing the x-ray for me they say I would have to come back AGAIN and pay another fee for it! So they give me my pills and I'm on my way, oh yea and with a $600 bill! They also called me a day later to say I could pay for a swine flu test if I wanted to. After a week or so of struggling to get my cat to take these pills and realizing he wasn't getting better I go to my vet. The pills they had given me were worthless and I had wasted my time and money. My vet did a few short tests and concluded my cat had a disease called FIP. My cat passed away 2 days later. It was a terrible and devastating experience for me and if the hospital would have been able to conclude the right thing I would have at least been prepared for what was to happen. Unless it's a BIG emergency I suggest waiting for your vet.
