My aunt had a weird experience there. I wouldnt take my pets there. And heard it totally sucks to work there in case you're looking for work. Just passing it along as I'm actually on here trying to find a kitchen renovator service but happened to see this business listed and I used to be in the Vet biz myself.

I brought a dog I had recently adopted from the shelter there for a checkup last year. Dr. Lindermuth seemed fine, although he treats the animals in an open area and it's distracting because you think he's talking to you when he's talking to the people in the area across the room or next to you. I've had him examine my Boston Terrier and he seemed fine with that.

His assistant that day didn't seem to know anything about dogs. She tried to grab my other dog (a Golden Retriever mix) around the stomach, and pick her up, which she objected to (she had been in a home with a child who was rough with her that way, and in any case, who picks a big dog up by their stomach?) Also she's a 55 pound dog and the assistant didn't look like she could lift that kind of weight.

Then she decided that my dog was vicious and the next thing I knew my dog was lying up on a table with a muzzle on. The vet didn't examine her because he seemed to be afraid of her and warned me that I needed to establish dominance.

She had passed all the good citizenship tests at the Animal Rescue League before I adopted her, had been examined by a vet there, with no problems, and I have seen her with people and children of all ages since and have never had a problem with her. Maybe this was just a bad day and maybe it was just the assistant, but I wouldn't bring any of my pets back.

I bring all my cats here. They get excellent care, but at a premium price. They can make you feel really guilty if you don't good care of your pets, but they do seem to care for the fuzzies. Boarding is available and their online pet portal is a neat way to manage health care concerns.
