Located at the six corners in Bucktown/Wicker Park, Estelle's has been a neighborhood staple for the last decade. Estelle's is open every night until 4:00 am and 5:00 am on Saturdays, offering dinner and drink specials every night of the week. Stop by Estelle's on $2 Tuesdays when all micro brews are $2 or come in for $3 Thursdays featuring Absolut cocktails and Three Floyd's Gumball Head and Alpha King. With its art deco decor, combined with a great jukebox a friendly staff, and quality well-priced drinks, Estelle's remains the best rock bar Bucktown/Wicker Park has to offer. If you are going to Estelle's for after hours, it is best to try to beat the late night crowd by a few minutes. Nothing worse than waiting in line at 2 in the morning. If you can snag a table, the service is good and the menu is really good pub fare (chicken fingers, sandwiches, fries...)

The people at Estelle's take themselves far too seriously, particularly at 2/3 am when all the neighboring bars let out and people line up trying to cram in to a decidedly small, decidely average place. Just because you get uncomfortably crowded does not mean people *like* coming there. If they did, they'd show up before getting kicked out of their first choice of the night.

Good drinks and tunes in a relaxed space
by bethylou10
I've been coming to Estelle's for a few years. I started going when I lived a couple of blocks away, and keep going even though I'm not in the neighborhood anymore. The jukebox rocks and the drinks are stiff. Judy is a great server. I usually prefer to go earlier, before the late night crowd rolls through and the place gets packed.
Pros: Judy the server, jukebox, close to the Blue Line
