This is 5 star at its finest. I have to admit, it wasn't me who stayed here, but on behalf of my parents I can say it was superb. We were all given a glass of champagne at check-in...and I wasn't even a guest! The room was clean, modern and quiet. The room service...get the pancakes for breakfast. Wow. Just...wow.

WOW! What a beautiful hotel. We had our company holiday party there and the room was a little small but nicely decorated. The rooms are to die for. Nice new hotel.

It's almost like Hotel 1000 doesn't belong in Seattle. With the city's reputation for flannel, North Face and flip flops, its kind of like Hotel 1000 was sent to purposefully infuse some much needed glamor and sophistication into our lives and I could not be more grateful.

I surprised my boyfriend last summer during the miserable heatwave with the B&B With A Twist package. Valet parking, two top shelf cocktails, an incredibly stunning and sexy room, and breakfast in bed for two the next morning. AMAZING deal!

The rooms are gorgeous- lots of deep blues, crisp white sheets and provocative artwork. The fill from the ceiling tub begs to be part of a romantic, love filled night. Molton Brown shampoo and soap is a huge plus- not to mention BOKA's twice daily happy hour.

If you go on a Tuesday, the spa has free valet parking plus a "Spa Happy Hour" with discounted pedicures and massages.

I seriously don't know what more you could ask for when you want a sexy, romantic "stay-cation".

Pros: Really couldn't ask for more

Cons: I don't live there

This is a fun place to just go to the bar and get a drink. Boutique feel - hip, without feeling unwelcoming.

Pros: Cool, hip atmosphere, great decor, customer service

Everyone knows who you are! Once they have your name, they never lose it. The valet gives you nice bottled water in your car. The rooms are AMAZING. I melted in that bed. The bathtubs fill from the ceiling??!! Very cool. The food is great... the truffle fries will melt in your mouth.

Pros: The rooms, the location, the service, EVERYTHING!

Cons: None!!

My wife and I spent the night here for our anniversiary. We would reccommend this hotel to anyone at any time. When we arrived at the hotel and told the valet our name, he congratulated us on our anniversiary. A small touch, but a very nice way to be welcomed to the hotel. Every member of the staff was equally as genuine in their desire to make our stay memorable. Live classical guitar and flights of wine in the Studio lounge made for relaxing and fun after dinner entertainment. The room was nicely furnished with a comfortable sitting area (hard to find in a hotel) and an incredible bathroom. The bed was a little too soft for our taste, but other than that, no complaints at all. We will be back and we'll be reccommending to our friends as well.

Hi all. This place is awesome. The night of our wedding we stayed here and had an absolutely fabulous time. The only, i emphasis only complaint i have is that it was nearly impossible to get a complete view because the view rooms were already booked up. We got a partial view which was still great, but a full would have been preferred. I recommend that you book several months in advance if a view is important to you. Everything else was 5 star quality. There was construction going on at the time, but they managed this very well and it did not affect us one bit. We will without question consider this hotel for future anniversaries!

I have stayed at Hotel 1000 on two occasions and have not only enjoyed my stay, from the time I?m greeted at the door with a smile, to the professional friendly service I receive at the front desk, from start to finish!! The rooms are beautiful and the staff is ready to assist with your individual request and love the Boka Bar and Kitchen Restaurant next to the lobby, the food is delicious!! I travel for business and stay at five star hotels and have not received the kind of service I receive from Hotel 1000!! So perhaps bridezilla was just plain out of her element? If you don?t have enough money in your debit account?then stick to a hotel? Or should I say motel that suites your pocket book!! Need I say more? moving on ... I noticed Bridezillas review on RED and I have been a client since they opened the doors!! The management has changed and it needed to, the new management, she defiantly knows what she is doing!!! The place is positive, full of energy, everyone is friendly and professional! Is it always a bad thing for a business when a artist leaves?. Hmmm? RED has always had that urban raw edge, but the place looks refreshed and beautiful!! I have referred numerous friends to RED and they loved their experience (including brides)!! Highly recommend!! Would highly recommend, 5 stars to RED and Hotel 1000!!!

Pros: It is a beautiful , swanky, sleek and stylish hotel!!! Staff is fabulous! Love the hotel!

Cons: never experienced one!

My boyfriend and I decided to go on a romantic getaway but wanted to keep it local in Seattle. He surprised me by booking Hotel 1000. I was instantly impressed walking into the hotel with its modern asian-inspired accents. The front desk was a little reserved but still friendly. The room wasn't prepared even though we were checking in at 4pm, but she said it would only take five minutes. We had drinks at the bar in Boka, the mojito was delicious! When we went up to the room I was instantly amazed by the beautiful tub, the classical music playing, and a wonderful view of 1st avenue. They even folded the corner of the toilet paper! They really pay attention to details here! After we came back from dinner, we found our room cleaned and prepared for the night. We slept very well in the extremely comfy bed. Overall our stay was amazing and we will definitely come back!

Pros: decor and amenities, very romantic

Cons: a little pricey

Its no surprise that this hotel has great reviews. All the newest ammenities and really swanky rooms. Teh bathroom was incredible! However the front desk staff is not as warm or friendly as they should be. They are efficient but could use some personality. The room service for dinner was excelent though, felt guilty for eatting such fine food in our room. Would go back, but only for special occasions.

My husband and I reserved a suite at hotel 1000 about 3 months in advance for our wedding night, and we were very excited. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the customer service is not! We arrived on our wedding night late (as we should) and were asked for a credit card, unfortunately my new husband left his card at the bar (our fault clearly), the staff said they needed any card or we could not stay! They assured me they would only put $1 on my card, and we could get his card in the morning. So I gave the desk my card. The next day we got his card and they charged it the amount for the room. They had also charged my card for the room the night before (without telling me), and over drafted my account. After I spoke to them they took the amount off my card, but would not pay the overdraft fee. The following day a charge of $200 appeared on my account, over drafting it AGAIN! When I called the manager he said it was a 'smoking' fee! My husband nor I smoke and were not even around people who smoke that night! Outraged and 2 hrs away from leaving on our honeymoon, we finally got them to take the fee off, again they would not pay for the overdraft fees and did not act sorry for the situation at all. The managers were never available and the front desk staff was not helpful.. not what you want to deal with on your wedding night, when your spending $500 on a room!

Pros: Beautiful!

Cons: Bad service, unavailable managers, stressful

I had the chance to stay at the newest hotel on 1st Ave and I was really impressed with everything. From the staff to the quality of service that my now fiance'(He proposed at Hotel 1000 in BOKA) and I had recieved was beyond excellence. I will always stay at Hotel 1000 whenever I come into Seattle.

Pros: Everything....Especially the Virtual Golf

Cons: Nothing

June 03, 2008

I thought Hotel 1000 would be the perfect place for my daughter and her husband to spend their first two "married" nights together. I made arrangements for one of the special packages--dinner at Boka, a warm bath with rose petals floating on the water, chocolate dipped strawberries, champagne. I also separately arranged for the groomsmen to enjoy the virtual golf in the hotel. I was assured that they would take excellent care of them - provide them with menus to order food and drink since this was during lunchtime while they played golf. Also, a couples massage the morning after their wedding was arranged through the spa. I confirmed everything with the hotel days prior to the reservation date. What my daughter and her husband got was a beautiful small room (it was changed from the larger room that was originally booked), strawberries and champagne, and a lovely dinner at Boka. Unfortunately, the bath was never prepared, the massage was cancelled because the hotel front desk never confirmed the appt with the spa and the guys were shown to the virtual golf room and then left alone--no menus or service. They had to go to the restaurant on their own to get food and drink. When I called the hotel to speak to the manager, Matt, he assured me that he would make sure that the missed amenities would happen the next day. The spa staff were wonderful and did reschedule the massage when I explained the situation. As for what the manager promised -- it never happened. InterestingIy I received an email survey from the hotel requesting input regarding their service. As they stated in the survey -- "All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them." So, I re-stated all that happened as well as my dissatisfaction. There was absolutely no response from the hotel. The rooms are lovely, the staff of the spa and restaurant were wonderful but there is definitely a sense of indifference on the part of the hotel staff and management.

Pros: location, beautiful rooms

Cons: Poor service, indifference on part of hotel management

We stayed here for a quick trip up from Portland. And now we will never stay anywhere else in Seattle! The rooms are large and luxurious, the bathrooms are sleek and modern which is exactly what we prefer to the"average" hotel. Perfect location to all things downtown, 2 blocks from the Metropolitan Grill, which is one of the reasons we go to Seattle :) and also Pikes, Seattle Art Museum. We ordered room service the following morning, which was decent, but probably would have had a better breakfast if we went out. I believe we stayed on the 9th floor, which had a pretty decent view, nothing spectacular by any means. We also tried the Boka Bar in the hotel, had lunch, no drinks, but the ambiance matched the modern hotel. Customer service was to be expected, they did let us leave our bags before we checked in and were prompt in getting things we needed. They have valet parking, we looked around for a parking garage but didn't have much luck. (We might have given up too soon...) The rates are comparable to other hotels in the area and in comparison this hotel is by far one of the nicest in Seattle.

We stayed at Hotel 1000 for our wedding night before heading out on our Honeymoon. The accomadations were incredible. The rooms were clean and luxurious- beds a bit uncomfortable but worth it for the view and bathtubs (the water comes out of the ceiling!). That being said, the service was impersonal, rushed and lacking in every aspect. We tried to leave our bags early (around 3) for early check in and were told we couldn't be accomadated. We had to leave our bags in the limo and then unload after the wedding- talk about a romance killer! I wrote a letter to the hotel thanking them for the bottle of wine and card, while also sharing my criticism at the lack of service. Rather than trying to regain us as a customer they replied thanking us for the business and asking us to return. I won't be doing so and wouldn't recommend until I know that the service has improved. I'd take a boutique hotel with great rooms and personal service over a large hotel with great rooms and VERY impersonal service anyday- especially my WEDDING NIGHT! Good luck with them.

Pros: Incredible rooms and view!

Cons: service impersonal and rushed, beds uncomfortable
