I had a very bad experience with a previous vet who frightened and manhandled my dog. She is very shy and nervous and needs to be handled with care. When I came to Shadowridge the staff was warm and welcoming to both myself and my pet. They didn't try to force her to submit my muzzling her and holding her down, they took the time they needed to gain her trust. In the end, my dog who has always needed a muzzle for nail trims laid down complacently and allowed the Dr. to treat her without a muzzle and with minimal restraint. I was impressed and grateful for the calming experience. She will be happy to go back and so will I!!
