First and last time I go to this salon.

I had a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was OK, but the manicure was quite bad. The nails were not cut straight there was a lot of cuticle skin left and not polished well.

I went home and finished myself. There's another nail spa in Briar Creek and I've had good results there many times. I'd recommend that place (mani-pedi there is $5 cheaper, too).

I had visited Mani Pedi since it first opened every other week for my pedicures and never had a problem. I then had a new nail technician who cut the side nail bed causing my toe to ooze red stuff (the word blo*d is not allowed) profusely. She freaked out and put some green stuff on to stop the bleeding, this worked until I went back to work. I paid for the pedicure and even tipped the cutter. It was still bleeding the next day and hurt terribly. I called the salon and spoke with the manager who was rude and did not believe me, she demanded I come up to the salon and show her my toe, so during my lunch I returned to the salon only to have her tell me it was an ingrown toenail and to see my doctor. So, more time off from work to have my doctor tell me it was not an ingrown nail, it was cut and infected, he prescribed antibiotics and told me to stay away from the offenders since I could get a fungus and lose my toenail. I have not returned and have been using VIP in Morrisville who are more reasonable and much friendlier.

Pros: Nice atmosphere,great drinks

Cons: nail infection, rude

I have had acrylic nails since 1988--I moved to the Raleigh area in November of 2007--it took me 81/2 months of trying all the nail salons around this area before I stumbled across mani/pedi coming out of BJs warehouse one day---I like the Tammy Taylor brand of acrylic--I think it is the strongest, been on bowling leaque, played softball and volley ball-no problems with my acrylic nails. This is the 2nd place in this area that offers Tammy Taylor-the other was in wake forest and was way to high for the service she offered. Anyway I went in and Amy did my pink/white manicure with the tammy taylor acrylic--OMG she is the best this area has to offer--I am originally from Naples Fl--so as far as price point--THEY ARE NOT pricey for the products that they offer- I would have paid more in Naples for the origianl set and the fillsby a $20.00 minimum. When I sat down the first time I told Amy I had been looking for a place to have my nails done for 8 mths and at that point had not been back to any salon more once in this area, if she did a good job she would have me for as long as i live in Raleigh, NC area--I dont care if I have to drive 50 miles-I would still stay with Amy. I have recommended her to quite a few others and they are all pleased as well. I am in salon industry as well and they ARE by far the cleanest and most sanitized nail salon I have been to in this area. I have been 4 weeks between fills and still have had no problems-no cracking no lifting--just badly needed a fill when I went back. I would HIGHLY recommend this nail salon over any other in the Raleigh,Durham area.

Pros: Excellent in every thing they do and offer

I haven't had a good pedicure close by since I moved to the Leesville area from Cary last year. I took a chance on Mani-Pedi Nail Spa after reading the reviews and I am SO glad I did! I went on a Thursday afternoon, so it was really slow (only me and 2 other people there) and it was AMAZING! I was treated to a glass of wine and an 1 1/2 HOUR pedicure! This is not a place to go if you just want a quick pedi, but if you need a bit of relaxation time, this is perfect! The girl did a great job on my feet and nails (my husband even noticed how smooth my feet were) and then I got a great manicure too! Reasonably priced for Briar Creek. Everyone is very nice. They weren't speaking in another language the whole time, so that was nice too! Very nice salon. everything is clean and new. I appreciate that they open up the sterile tools in front of me!

Pros: AMAZING pedicure!!!

Cons: A little pricey, but good for the area

I have been going to Mani Pedi Nail Salon since the first week they opened! I was tired of the treatment and poor quality of my prior salon in the same complex and decided to give this one a chance. Needless to say I am hooked!! I typically go every other week for a mani & pedi-waxing once a month. The salon is very clean and has a very relaxing enviornment. All of the employees are very nice and a joy to be around. They remember regulars names and even what types of services they like, also down to the specifics of what your likes and dislikes are. This salon uses sterilized equipment on each and every client, they open right in front of you. The quality of the products is also tip top.
I have recommended this salon to numerous friends and family members and they are now hooked.

Pros: Ambience, Service, Unique Service Offerings, Quality of Products

Cons: It can get busy on weekends...make an appt

I have been getting monthly (sometimes more) pedicures for almost 12 years in a few different states. I like to think I know what constitutes good service and quality work, and without a doubt, this salon always delivers both. Amy and her staff are courteous, efficient, and professional in every way. The salon is immaculate and comfortable. I used to request specific technicians, but I don't anymore since they are all highly qualified. As with any service, as long as you are clear and specific about your likes, you will be satisfied every time. I have also used the waxing services at the salon and have always been happy with the results. The technicians take their time no matter how busy the salon is, and I never feel rushed.
As for pricing, I feel that this salon is competitive with others in the area. If price is a concern for you, then Brier Creek is not the area in which to get any salon treatment. There are specials on Mondays and Tuesdays that even make the experience more affordable.
Another reason I really like this salon is because they are wonderful with children. I often take my young friends or nieces for a special treat and they adore this salon. The women make them feel special and grown up. They think the complementary drinks are fun and they feel like princesses the whole time.
I have to strongly disagree with the last reviewer. I think if she would have returned to the salon and expressed her dissatisfaction about her services, the owner would have done the right thing for her.
If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and quality work, this salon is the place to go.

Pros: Clean, friendly, quality work

Cons: Can be very busy during peak times

The best in the Triangle! I have been going since they have opened and I always feel better when I leave. The pedicures are amazing. So many to choose from and I have tried them all! My gel fills always look great. I am never rushed, no matter how busy they are. The ladies are always so welcoming and they always have a smile for their clients. I have been to a lot of nail salons in the area and this is the one I recommend to everyone. Mai does my nails and toes, but I have been to others and they are all great. Go, you won't be disappointed:)

I just moved to the area so i decided to try this salon. The prices were high, I got a french manicure pedicure, I felt rushed and the french was awful and chipped within a day . The lady who did my nails was speaking their language almost the whole time, I didn't feel relaxed at all. I will never go back to this place again all though they try to serve fancy drinks and stuffs, it didn't make up for my service.

After searching for a few months to find a great pedicure, Mani Pedi Nail Spa delivered. I was just out shopping in the Brier Creek area and decided to stop in on a whim. Walk-ins are welcome; however, they were busy the day I went, so most people had to wait. I was pleasantly surprised by the varied pedicure and manicure services they offered, and I chose the Raw Earth pedicure with french polish ($43 total). They offer many different "specialty" manis & pedis, such as Mango, Romantic, Peppermint and Chocoate that are $38 rather than the $30 for the basic. I was offered a complimentary beverage (soft drinks, tea, or wine) immediately, and my nail technician was incredibly friendly and pleasant! Despite the number of people in the salon and the ones waiting, she took her time completing each step from beginning to end. The mud masque was exceptional! The massage chairs do not have a heat setting and are not as nice as I am used to, but that's just a minor complaint. The french looked great, better than most I've ever had! The white was perfect, not too thick and not too thin. Overall, my pedicure lasted about 45 minutes, and I enjoyed every minute! I would definitely recommend Mani Pedi Nail Spa to anyone, especially if you want something more than the basic pedicure. I will certainly be back to try out some the other specialities.

Pros: Variety in services, Staff, Value

Cons: None

I went here for the first time last Thursday (4.17.08) based on the reviews of this site. I really liked the look of the salon. Very clean and bright! After I walked in and was greeted I told the woman that I would like a manicure and a pedicure and proceeded to wait my turn. I didn't have an appointment but no one even asked me if I had one so walk ins seem to be very welcome. I picked up the little book on their desk outlining the services they offer and all I can say is ... Wow! they offer a lot of different manicures and pedicures. I just went with a regular manicure and french pedicure. The pedicure was WONDERFUL! The massage was so great. She knew what she was doing and did not skimp on time. I do have one tiny complaint. The file she used on my heels actually left them rough. I'm a little upset by it but I keep a foot file in the shower and do a light scrub every day to make sure the dry skin doesn't get out of control especially in the summer wearing sandals. Already my feet are back to the way they were before I went in and I'll just make sure to tell her not to use that particular tool again. The polish was very well done too. Just the right amount of white.

The manicure on the other hand was not so great. It felt rushed and messy. I liked the way she shaped my nails but the polish was already chipping on Sunday. I keep my nails very short and can go through five days before thinking I need to take the polish off. I needed to take it off on Sunday but waited till Monday.

On a side note the prices seemed a little high to me but I'm coming from the NY/NJ area where I can get the same quality pedicure and much better manicure for $25 - $30 total so the $50 price was expensive to me. But like I said before I read the little book at the front so I knew what it was going to be before I sat in a chair so I'm not complaining - just mentioning.

Pros: Pedicures, free drinks during services

Cons: Manicures

★★★★★

Great service, VERY CLEAN, and no pressure to get more than you came in for like other salons in Briercreek that are quite "pushy". I also enjoy the beverage with the mani-pedi, etc. Chai Latte is my favorite unless I'm in the mood for a glass of wine at the end of the day!!!! I hope they keep up this level of service and cleanliness . . . it's a treat.

FANTASTIC! I went there after leaving my former nail salon in the same plaza. Their service is exceptional (free beverage with nail service), the salon/spa is lovely inside - not to mention VERY clean. It's more of an oasis than an overly packed nail salon. A friend of mine and I went this past Sunday and got there @ ten to five. They were exceptionally gracious and did not turn us away like many other place would have. The pedicure was wonderful, the glass of wine much needed and the unexpected 25% discount shocking. Tell only one friend b/c this place is going to be packed in no time.

Pros: Friendly & Efficient Service, great prices,, fabulous pedi chairs!

Cons: none

i visited Mani Pedi Nail Spa for the first time today,i was very impressed that the salon very clean, comfortable, relax and quiet. They had escape mood music and Coffee/Beverage bar with a nice cappuccino, hot chocolate,French vanilla mocha and wines.
