Thai Chili jam is my favorite Thai restaurant in Portland. Not only is the food delicious, but the service, portion size and value are all excellent.

The food is great, and the ladies who run it are sweet. Almost stereotypically asian sweet, but that's a good thing!

The prices range from average to slightly over-priced.

Thai Chilli jam is easiest some of the best Thai food in Portland. My wife is Thai so I know good Thai food and when she isn't up to cooking, we go to Thai Chilli jam to enjoy the food. The yellow curry is amazing, perfectly cooked so you get a ton of flavor without being overwhelmed. It also has the right level of spice. There are some other Thai restaurants in Portland like Thai Peacock who people claim are "good" but that is just because they haven't tried Thai Chilli Jam

NEW Owners - Really great food too!!????
This restaurant recently changed owners and the new people are very nice. I've eaten Thai food in many cities for years, so I know good from bad. It's not fancy or drastically different from what you find at almost all Thai places, but it's done right, consistently, and at a fair price. I really hope this restaurant succeeds because there's nothing as good and as convenient in the area. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed

i love coconut curries of all sorts and regularly compare them from various thai restaurants around town. in my opinion thai palace hands down has the most delicious curry in inner portland. also the owners are very nice and the prices are very reasonable! 5 stars!

The best Thai restaurant in Oregon! Especially fresh ingredients and flavors to die for.......especially the Mango Sticky Rice dessert! We've tried Thai food all over the state and this is best, period. Jam is an inspired chef, and you will be telling everybody about your great experience. We would give it six stars if we could!

The best Thai food in town..

Best Thai food in the city hands down. Jam is a delight and try the Oh My God special as an appetizer.

This place was close to campus so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Larb salad, which tasted too bland. They stir-fry their chicken in some kind of sauce first, and there was no lime juice or anything that comes with traditional larb; I was extremely disappointed.

There was only one other table in the restaurant and the service was still horrible! The waitress forgot to bring me my sticky rice that I had ordered with my salad and she disappeared after setting my food down, I didn't even get my water refilled.

Don't waste your time with this place.

When I'm tired from work and just want some Thai comfort food and to relax in my own house, I call Thai Chili Jam from the bus and the food is ready to go when I get to my stop right in front. The owner is super nice and the food hits the spot for a weeknight dinner. Leftovers great for lunch at work.
