In Short
Flat-screen TVs line the walls of this Ballard Avenue sports bar. At any given moment, each is showing a different sporting event to the crowd below. The menu offers classic bar fare, along with a variety of gourmet hot dogs and plenty of menu items for kids. The décor is rustic industrial with a wealth of steel and wood beams. Shuffleboard, darts and pool are always options, and when it's warm, a garage door opens up to an expansive deck.

Key Points

  • Awesome Tuesday Trivia night!
  • Pool Tables & Shuffleboard
  • Open outdoor Dining & Drinking

The Inside Scoop

  1. Where to Sit - Belly up to the seats at the end of the bar where you'll have a great view of all the flat-screen action (and beautiful bar-goers).
  2. What to Drink - Try the Mangorita, a mango-licious cocktail that perfectly balances sweet and sour.

Awesome place to watch a game - or hang outside

by jooz

Ballard Loft has an awesome outdoor patio in the front, perfect for a sunny day of imbibing. It also has a pretty sweet game night on Tuesdays (Mondays?), all right food, good happy hour, and a bunch of big TV's - not a bad spot to watch a game from...

Pros: Outdoor Seating, TV's, Game Night

Cons: none

good place to unwind

by mattv

Clean, open space with friendly service. Beer in mugs, decent fried grub, two pool tables and a dozen TVs. Weekdays are pretty mellow. Weekends are what you'd expect in Ballard, but without an entrenched scene since the place is still pretty new and looks too much like a sports bar to pass for hipster territory. If you're new to the area like a lot of people, this place is a safe bet.
