I purchased a GMC Acadia from Hendrick Durham Auto Mall last week. This was the most professional and pleasurable car buying experience I have ever had! I cannot say enough good things about my sales consultant, Matt Ball!. After test driving one on the lot and reviewing the addtional requirements I had, he found the exact vehicle that I wanted, and was able to obtain it for my purchase. And it was ready for delivery in less than 2 days. Everyone was very friendly and courteous, and very efficient at their job. They were very straightforward in their price negotiation, no add ons, no pressure to purchase options that I did not want. I was very pleased with everyone and everything from the time I drove up till the time I drove away in my new Acadia.

Mike Allen in service is professional, caring, and goes the extra mile (or two) in ensuring everything is perfect. They know me by name and sincerely seem glad to see me when I stop by. I recently bought a new Equinox 2012 from salesman Matt Ball at this dealership. I did my research on the vehicle, went personally to several other dealerships with no results then came home and put my search on the internet. Matt Ball responded immediately with the vehicle, color and options I needed. Next step was visiting the dealership and meeting Matt personally. This was the best ""dealership visit"" I have ever had! I am 54 and have bought many vehicles in the past (often with dread) but Matt Ball & Hendrick Durham Auto Mall made me feel like a QUEEN! It was immediately known THEY were there to HELP ME, give me what I wanted at the price I could afford! I was made to feel the dealership and Matt Ball had my full attention. Since I had driven from Mebane, Matt wanted to react to my immediate needs, refreshments, stretch my legs and RELAX! I've been to spas that didn't relax me as well as Matt Ball and the dealership, very true.\nMatt Ball already knew what vehicle I wanted and the price I was willing to pay so he told me what he had already worked on for me. Matt showed me the vehicles and colors in the price range I had given him. I actually got my first choice in vehicle color! I drove an Equinox, was told not only about my many super options but Matt explained the mechanical system to me. The whole place is clean and relaxed and friendly. Construction around the area makes it a little tricky to find the turn in, but I definitely recommend Hendrik.

You will regret coming to this dealership.\n\nI was foolish enough to bring my car in for a repair, and I agreed to commit to a 150 diagnosis fee if I decided not to get it repaired there. Once they had me on the line with this fee, they attempted to charge me 680 dollars for the repair. I called a mechanic who worked on my type of car and was informed that the repair should cost no more than 450 dollars at a dealership, so I called a number of other dealerships in the area, all of whom quoted me a flat repair rate (something this dealership refused to do) and said they would do the repair for under 475. Finally, after repeated phone calls, Hendrick agreed to do the repair for under 500 dollars. When I got the car back, it was making noises that it wasn't making before. I took the car back, but everybody in the service department insisted that it could only be a ""coincidence"" which they were not responsible for.\n\nIf you make the mistake of taking your car into Hendrick's service shop, I'd advise you to call other dealerships and find out their prices to avoid being cheated out of hundreds of dollars. Don't expect anything but a sloppy repair, either.

When we got there, surprise....not one was there, they were all in another state! Tried to get us to look at a much higher priced suv, or BUY one of the other ones and we could have it in 4 days sight unseen! Trust them, we could get our money back if we didn't like it when it got there, RIGHT, they could not even tell us the truth before we drove all the way there! Don't waste your time with these people!

I showed up for an oil change and was told that it would be 45 minutes to 1 hour (appointments are not allowed for this service). At 30 minutes, I noticed that my car had not been moved yet and went to inquire. I was told that my car was next. At 1 hour, my car still wasn't moved. the guy told me to 'reschedule' since I couldn't wait. I reminded him that they don't schedule appointments for oil changes - to which he chuckled. Upon asking for the manager, my key was taken and tossed to the guy standing next to him - no apology. It's like it was all a joke!!! For this reason, I'll never do ANY business with Hendrick Chevrolet as they have NO regard for peoples' time or customer service!

I went to Rick Hendrick Chevrolet's service department when my 2000 Monte Carlo started having jerking problems while driving. They diagnosed the problem as a faulty wiring system, which they supposedly fixed (at a cost of $160.20 parts + $225.00 labor) along with a fuel filter that needed replacing (additional $24.50 parts). The jerking problem persisted, so I took the car into another mechanic, who said immediately the problem was a fuel filter in need of replacement. He took the ""newly replaced"" one out of my car and said that it was completely plugged up and was the FACTORY ORIGINAL filter, not a brand new one that I had paid for at Rick Hendrick. He replaced it ($22.58 parts + $39.98 labor) and the jerking problem was immediately fixed. So Rick Hendrick completely lied about replacing the filter, though they charged me to do so. I still don't know if they even replaced the wiring that they charged me for. AVOID this dealership!!!!
