I was taking my beloved dog to Gentle Touch and always was touched by their kindness. Yet when my dog became ill with severe kidney disease, I found myself struggling with the decision to euthanize him. I didn't mind paying for the cremation, or the medicine they used, but it broke my heart that I paid an even greater amount for the privilege of allowing my son to be in the room and hold his dog. The greed was apparent, I know of no other vet who charges that fee.

I started using Gentle Touch as soon as they moved into the neighborhood on E. Hampden. My animals have seen both Dr. Tasky and Dr. Montz. Both are wonderful! The follow-up phone calls are excellent!! The entire staff has ALWAYS been very kind to my animals and me. I think the cost of the procedures is kind of high but worth it to me because of the wonderful care the animals receive. I like how you see your animals history on line plus order food or make appointments on line. Highly recommend this animal hospital. Love Trinnie, the office cat.

Our recently adopted senior bulldog was having some lameness issues and I took her in to see Dr Tasky. She was very gentle, compassionate & caring as well as knowledgable. We used to use Denver Mobile Vet with our other pets before Gentle Touch took over Dr. Watson's practise. We changed to Greenwood Village Vet for convenience sake when Dr. Watson retired but we will be returning to Gentle Touch for any future veterinary needs. We're very happy with them. I'm surprised to see comments about rudeness and frankly find them hard to believe. The staff could not have been kinder or more attentive. Particularly Michelle.

Dr. Tasky and Dr. Montz and their staff have treated my cats and me better than any of my own doctors have. They called me twice a day with updates on one they had to keep overnight, even as late as 9:30 p.m. and on Saturday mornings; they called to check on one after tooth extractions. Both vets explain the situations thoroughly and thoughtfully, with clear competence. The entire staff - down to the office cat - is friendly and professional. Honestly, I cannot say enough good about them. I have recommended Gentle Touch to friends, and I recommend them to anyone seeking professional, caring, accommodating pet care.

I agree with the reviews of Michelle being very rude. She has no costumer service skills at all. She does not make an attempt to talk to you in the waiting room either. There is nothing. Once I asked a few questions about my cat and she got irritated and snaped at me. All the other girls at the front desk are great. They actually talk to you and are very nice. It would be a good front desk if Michelle was not part of it. As far as the Vets - Dr. Montz is awesome. You can tell he actually cares about your pet and is very kind. He makes the time for you to ask questions and doesn't rush you out. Dr. Tasky on the other hand is very knowledgable; however, only seems to care about the money aspect of it all - not the animals. They seem to be higher priced than the surronding Vet offices, but I like Dr. Montz a lot so I do not mind paying a little more. If you tolerate Michelle's extreme rudeness - Dr. Montz is the Vet to see.

I came in recently to find out information on this place as they have just moved by my house. I have 2 dogs and was excited to have a vet so close. The woman with very short reddish hair at the front desk was very rude. She treated me like I was stupid for asking questions and bothering her. I simply couldn't believe how I was being treated! I have worked in customer service all my life and would never have a staff member treat my customers like that. When she answered the phone without saying "excuse me" or anything I was truly offended. Another woman who's name was Katie came to the front and asked me if I had been helped. She was very nice and very helpful. If I had met her first I probably would have made an appointment for my dogs but unfortunately the other woman had already ruined the place. I won't be coming here I don't care how close they are....

I came in to do some inquiring about the practice before taking my pets in and the Michelle who is their front desk staff is very rude. She was flip, short and very curt with her answers and seemed irritated that I was there.

I was given a square pamphlet with information and told to call for an appointment. There was a girl on the phone in the office behind her who looked at me very apologetically. If this is the way the staff is with me, I can imagine how Michelle would be with a sick animal.

We used their mobile service because our dog doesn't do well in cars and somehow the Dr. hurt our dog - his back leg was hurt and he couldn't put any weight on it. He is a very skitish dog and I sure he just manhandled him to hold him down.

We took him to the office but he was hyper by then and they said, there was nothing wrong. Not so, the dog limped for three days. Done with them.

I have been going to Gentle Touch for several years for many reasons. The service has always been great and I have never had to wait long at all when I show up for appointments. Dr. Tasky is very knowledgeable and very good with my pets. Furthermore, Dr. Tasky and the rest of her staff are very personal with my pets and make them feel right at home during their appointments. They definitely show that they personally care about my pets. In fact, after I moved down south a few years ago I have continued to make the longer drives to this office as opposed to finding a vet that is more conveniently located to my new address. This is solely because of the exceptional and personal service I get from Gentle Touch and the entire staff.

I was surprised to see the comments about the rude service. I experienced quite the contrary. My dog was attacked by some other dogs and after the attack I just called Gentle Touch and I was able to whisk my little guy right in. Dr. Tasky saved my dogs life. She gave up her holiday weekend to take care of my dog and we were able to come up and visit him several times over the weekend. I couldn't believe the personal service we received. Now my dog is alive and well thanks to Dr. Tasky. I have taken my dog to various vets on the east coast and in Denver and I have never received such personal service such as this. They always know me when I call and the staff is always kind and considerate. I highly recommend this Animal Hospital.

I used their mobile vet services for the convenience. So when my cats needed to have their teeth cleaned and 3 extracted I scheduled an appointment. When I got to the office and was told that the cost was going to be over $1100.00, I was shocked, but left them anyway with the assurance that the Dr. would call me before doing any procedure. I changed my mind and when I called I as told that no procedures had been done yet, but when I arrived to get my cats, I was told I owed $142 for the blood draw . Well long story short even though I was working with Tanya, technician Rudy Lind RUDELY stated "Well then you should not have left them!" And he called me a ??BITCH?. So if you don't mind poor customer service, having an office not abide by your wishes and you don't mind being called names well then by all means this is the place for you, I of course have choices and will choose a different vet; one who treats both my pets and me like VIPs.

I first began using Gentle Touch veterinarians (Dr. Larry Montz) when my mobile vet, Dr. Watson, retired and sold his practice to them. I continue to use their mobile vet services for annual check ups and vaccines. They are prompt, kind, and stress-free (for both me AND my two kitties). The charge for the house call is $38.00, which considering the cost of gas, time to travel, and stress of transporting two kitties in the car, is WELL WORTH every cent. For more extensive procedures (e.g., one of my cats just needed 3 teeth extracted) we go to their office. Dr. Tasky performed the procedure. They called me while the procedure was in process to give me an update, Dr. Tasky herself left me a detailed message after she was done, and they talked to me at length when I picked her up, re: aftercare. I would highly recommend this caring team!
