Code 4 Towing

As an obsessed chain smoker who goes to the balcony every 30 minutes to feed the feen, I live in front of our apartment gate entrance and have watched Code 4 Towing work from my balcony for a period of 4 busy months when they were on the roll with our complex. Yet I still managed to fall victim to their predatory towing tactics - twice. Three, if we count our friends car that was towed the first week after we moved in. This all happened at my home, in my Apt complex, with parking permits on both of my cars AND within a 2 month period.

They parked their tow truck at the entrance of the gate and waited for new cars to drive in then ran around the parking lot to tracked down the vehicle to see if it had a parking permit. If not, they towed in less than an hour.

For the tow drivers to sit and wait for people to park then chase the car down to tow.. this is predatory. They did not wait to be called by the HOA (who by the way, appeared to work on a kickback basis because they didn't even know the 'reason' why my car was towed until they called the tow company, yet.. they 'supposedly' made the call to tow)

Apparently, the permit means nothing if the car is dirty and appears 'abandoned looking'. They towed. This company is so low down and dirty. Especially the fact that I already knew that about their towing tactics and as careful as I was, they got me. But I guess I am not the only one they got.

BE CAREFUL OF THIS PREDATORY TOWING COMPANY!!!!!!!! Check the Better BB and court records. File a complaint if they have done this to you too. It is an awful feeling to feel like there is nothing that can be done when taken advantage of. Money may have been lost but I'll take it as:

"I paid for a lesson that so we can at least make sure that they do not continue to run business in this way that is unhealthy to our society."

Pros: Best con artists in town.

Cons: We, the people, are its' victims.
