Gregg Animal Hospital has provided excellent care to all of our munchkins for almost 10 years now, including up to 6 cats and a Sheltie. We've found Dr. Gregg, Dr. Will, Dr. Bierman and the veterinary nursing staff to be knowledgeable, sincere, caring and honest in their diagnosis and treatment of our pets at all times. We had to take one of our cats to an emergency vet one weekend a couple of years ago and were told that she needed immediate surgery to fix a torn ligament in her back leg costing about $2,000. However, when we took her in to Gregg Animal Hospital the following Monday for a "second opinion", Dr. Gregg told us that it was just "strain" and surgery wasn't needed. He was right and she recovered fine on her own. Our Sheltie loves the staff at Gregg's so much, that whenever we bring him in for boarding he makes a hard left at the front door, and heads straight down the hall to the kennel without bothering to check in at the front first! The cost of care is comparable to most other veterinary practices, but Gregg Animal Hospital is an AAHA-rated facility that has the equipment and staff needed to provide your pet with a high level of care at all times. We would highly recommend Gregg Animal Hospital to anyone looking for the best in veterinary care for their pets!

Dr. Greg does give decent care to the animals but you have to sometimes ask him to explain what they are doing because you will get slammed at the end of the bill for unnecessary charges. They tend to take advantage of the fact your animal is sick and they know you will do whatever to help them so they charge and do extra things that will not help in the end with the plan of care.

If you know vet medicine a little you can go, but do not go there if you are a little clueless they will take advantage.

I have been taking my dog to Gregg Animal Hospital for over three years. They are always kind, helpful and very knowledgable. Even in an emergency, they always accommodate the needs of me and my dog. I highly recommend this vet.
