My Child joined Goddard 1 year back and he has learnt so much since then. Sometimes he shows me Yoga poses at home which is so impressive. I love it when he speaks few words in Spanish. Overall i am impressed with the curriculum and care

My daugther has been going in this school for last 2.5years, since she was 1.5 years old. She has been through 5 classes- changing every 6 months. All her teachers have been fabulous and loving. Her confidence level is very high and is doing academically also above her level. The whole staff, management and owners have been very helpful throughout. They keep adding new things to school and keep doing lots of activities every month on Saturdays which keeps us engaged with our kids and their school...Our daughter loves her school. We would highly recommend to check the school out.

This is NOT the place you want your children. The price of tuition is going to line the owner's pockets. The owners are not in this business for the well being of children. Children are not given consistency, they are shuffled from room to room, so STATE ratios are kept in check-not the 5 STAR RATIOS you are paying for. Turnover is EXTREMELY HIGH- because working there is stressful with little to no help from management. The owners put on a very good show to get you in the door, but it soon becomes evident that it was all a sham. The teachers that were there are excellent, (they are the only reason the place got a star at all!) but because of lack of support, almost all of them have gone. Don't make the same mistake we did. Stay away!

This is one of the worst schools to bring your toddler period! The teachers are in consistent , were they swap teachers from classroom to classroom. They swap kids from classroom to classroom, ya sure when the parent drops the kid off and pick their kid up its the same room and MAYBE the same teacher. But what they don;t know is how many times their kid has gone from room to room. So no consistency that's one complaint. Which for toddlers is a very big deal!... Others are since my child has been enrolled I found out there has been 27+ teachers that just left or quit, my child has only been there for 8 months and will soon be leaving! So 27 teachers in 8 mons, I don't think its the teachers at this point management has something to do with that and I really don't want unhappy employees watching my kid! The owners don't care very much about the child as they do about money, so anything that would help your child learn such as supply's for art or new playground toys or even sand for their sandbox must just be to much to ask...! So I could go on but i think you get the idea. This not all Goddard schools i can't speak for all for they are a franchise and run a little differently other places.so for the money there is a LOT better places for your toddler! \n

The Goddard school on Davis drive takes care of my two girls aged 2 years. I would highly recommend this school to all parents looking for a good school for their kids. \n\nThe teachers are very caring and affectionate and look after the kids as their own kids. The teacher kids ratio is very low and this provides the teacher with ample time to spend time with each of the kids. \n\nAll the kids in my daughters class refer to each other as buddies and the philosphy is also reflected in the class name. The girls get to play 30 minutes daily in the playground and the teachers make sure that they get the kids involved in various innovative activities from drawing to hand painting. One of my most memorable painting is the one which my kids gave me for my home coming gift.\n\nThe communication between the teachers and parents is excellent and they keep us informed on everything that impacts my kids. At the end of the day the activity sheet provided by the class teacher allows you to feel what my kids did in the calss. This always makes for intresting reading. \n\nThe school also conducts many activities for the kids like the fashin show, talent show and they recently participated in ""Morrisville Town Winter Parade"". \n\nIn short I feel that this school is Home away from Home for my kids.

I have a toddler here at The Goddard School and it has been a great experience and easy transition from the old Daycare.\n1-I love that the school is flexible with the drop off of my child.\n2-The events are mainly on the weekends, which my entire family can be a part of because no school or work day and that there are plenty of events that we all can take part of Such as: Halloween Costume party, Expo, Magic Show, Family and Friends party at Bond Park.\n3-The teachers are so concerned & interactive with all kids, not only mine. Reading is an every day activity. My son vocabulary is wider now.\n4-I love that they provide a traditional meal or vegetarian meal according to my culture and all the food is catered. \n5-Management is very cheerful from the moment my child and I enter from the moment I leave. I feel confident that my child is in good hands. \n6-Upon entering the School there is tight security by fingerprinting imaging, if you have none you need to be buzzed in by an employee.\nI have recommended friends and co-workers to The Goddard in hopes of their child being in an atmosphere of love, attention and great tools for the teachers to teach their precious child.

I would definitely recommend this school to my friend.\n\nPros:\n1) Good location - heart of RTP.\n2) They are open from 7am-6pm\n3) Organize events throughout the year and engage kids-parents in a lot of activities - like Child Expo, Magic Shows, Movie Nights etc.\n4) My kid loves the school and enjoys working with the teachers. \n5) Option to send home cooked meal\n\nCons:\n1) A constant change in the teachers - this is the main reason they are getting 3 stars.\n2) Sometimes phone responses are slow.\n3) Owners sometimes act artificial and could definitely improve on their management skills.

Our child has been at this ""school"" for several months and in that time we have witnessed over 5 teachers leave. Every response when I ask is, ""it's time to move on to better things."" \n\nSorry, but when there is teacher turnover like that in 4 months, there is a problem with the management. For the price of the tuition, we are not happy at all with the care our child has received. \n\nWhen we addressed our concern about consistency in the classroom (meaning the same faces there) I was abruptly interrupted and told ""you're wrong, the consistency is in the curriculum, not the same teachers there each day."" Um, sorry, but I tend to disagree. I'm talking about a TODDLER. I felt my concerns were dismissed as if I knew nothing at all. And when we're paying the high tuition that we are, I expect to be listened to without being interrupted. I don't think that's too much to ask.\n\nThe other thing is when people at the school (other teachers) asked where we were putting our child, their response was ""Oh yes, that's a great school. Lots of our kids and teachers are going there."" Problem? I think so.\n\nSorry, I realize there are many 5 star reviews and I honestly believe you're putting these reviews after not having been there long enough to see through the facade of the owners. I would not recommend this school to my worst enemy. Especially for the cost of the tuition which is outrageous. \n\nIn addition, when the owners come to hug my child, my child screams and runs in the other direction. This is not normal for my child and a good indication of the facade the owners give to the parents. Don't be duped like we were.\n\nI saw a comment on a post saying that all daycare/childcare has high turnover. I disagree. The new place where we are putting our child has teachers there FROM THE GODDARD SCHOOL and the majority of their teachers have been there for 5 years or more. That speaks volumes about the management.

My daughter has been at Goddard for a year and 1/2. The main reason we wanted to explore other pre-school options was to ensure that she received a diverse learning experience. I feel that she has certainly gotten a good academic foundation. She truly enjoys various learning activities that The Goddard School offers. She enjoys interacting with the teachers and staff there. Based on her learning experience at The Goddard School she will definitely be ready for kindergarten.

As a parent I felt my child teacher was great. She was very patient with the children. She told me how excited she was to be a teacher at The Goddard School. I felt that the owners of the school went above and beyond to meet the needs of the children and parents. As a parent I received great feed back about my child daily activities and concerns within a timely manner. The atmosphere of the school is warm and always clean. The owners are very nurturing to the children and always greet them with a hug or smile. Their reputation is known to exceed above excellence in the Morrisville/Cary area. I enjoyed the curriculum and resources that was provided to make sure the children were getting the best for their over all educational needs. The owners were always open to suggestions and very supportive to all the teachers. The Goddard School is a great place to be if you are looking for professional teachers and management that provides a warm , nurturing, safe environment for children.

My daughter has attended this daycare for a few years now. I am disappointed with the turnover rate, but my child has absolutely loved each of her teachers. I have heard a lot of negativity regarding the ownership, and while I tend to agree with some of it, the owners are not the ones watching over your child on a daily basis. The owners are extremely interested in you and your child when money or publicity is involved, and unfortunately, it seems to be all about money to them. However, it is a business.\r\n\r\nMy child has learned so much over the years in this school, so they're doing something right! Overall, the school could stand to hire teachers that are better than just ""average"", as some of them absolutely are.

We had our 5-year old daughter in the Goddard school on Davis Drive in Morrisville for a short period, for three or four months due to a family matter. We had a time gap between us working full time and the first day our daughter went to a year-around school. From the first minute our daughter walked in the Goddard School, she felt welcomed and important. Every day I struggled to get her in the car to drive back home because she did not want to leave. She always wanted to stay more and play. Every day teachers have had some kind of projects for the kids with arts, math, reading, and learning overall. One day, I was truly amazed on the topic of the lesson the kids were involved in. The Dinosaurs. The 5-year olds were able to recognize and name the dinosaurs one can find in the encyclopedia. How about that?! Sign language, yoga, early reading, creativity, and etc The Davis drive branch teaches kids to recognize and appreciate different cultures, which I think is the most important part of social co-existence. During the time of our enrollment, we were invited (almost every Saturday) to either a food festival, or parent-child walk, or family movie. In other words, the directors kept us busy. At the end of every day, the parents receive a daily card report on how their kids interacted during the day and what their kids have learned.\r\nThe staff members and teachers are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I had no doubts or concerns leaving my daughter with class teachers ( I really would like to name teachers here, but I will leave them incognito due to security reasons).\r\nAnother thing I would like to point out is wooden furniture and toys. For those of you who are in the organic lifestyle, this is a big plus. \r\nTo conclude, I would like to mention a Graduation Day. The Graduation Day was held at the City of Morrisville Town Hall. The first part of Graduation celebration was dedicated to a different culture presentation. The kids performed a graduation song wearing their national folk costumes. Hawaiian, Russian, American, Indian, Irish, Australian

We had our children here for two years. Given our experience, I have to warn any parent thinking of enrolling their child in this school. The last year of our attendance, teacher attrition was extremely high. Just recently, this school lost another good teacher who literally walked out due to the poor treatment of staff and children. She was not the first to leave in this manner. \n\nAlthough I completely understand the need for owners to make money, these owners take it to the extreme and it shows in the lack of care that children receive. \n\nThe owners put up a nice facade, but it is just that. Please think twice before putting your children in their care.

I highly recommend this school for anyone looking for a great preschool to send their child to. My daughter is two and a half years old and has attended the school for a little over a year. The staff is extremely friendly and cater to the children as if they were their own. The owners are great and go out of their way to make sure that the parents and children are comfortable and happy with everything going on at the school. They constantly throw different activities at the school that get both the kids and the parents involved like movie night, community walks, along with many other things. They provide daily sheets for the parents that show what activities your child is participating in and what they are learning throughout the day. My daughter continues to amaze me everyday with things that she is learning at the school. Just the other day she was counting and saying certain phrases in Spanish. She is always talking about the good times that she has playing with all of her friends and teachers and sometimes even cries when I come to pick her up since she is having so much fun and doesn't want to leave. When I was first looking for a preschool to send my daughter to, I received a lot of recommendations for this particular school from co-workers and friends. After visiting the school for the very first time, I knew that my daughter would not only have fun but also learn a lot from the curriculum that they have at the school as well. I'm happy with the decision that I have made and I'm sure that you will too if you decide to pick this school. \r\n\r\n- Roger

My children have been attending the Goddard School for 3 years and we have loved every minute of it. \r\nThe school always has planned events for families and we get information about what is going on. If we ever have questions, the Director or owners follow up with my husband and I right away.\r\nIt is a great school and I completely recomend it. My children have learned a lot, and they have been very happy with the teachers and the whole environment.\r\n\r\n

If possible I would have given this place a negative rating. The reasons:\r\n1) Owners\r\n2) Mistreatment of children - extremely low quality of care\r\n3)High staff turnover \r\n\r\nI am extremely disappointed with the way my children were treated. They got low quality play materials, low quality food despite the teachers trying their very best. All the owners care about is making money. They dont care about the duping parents who believe that their children are well cared for. Teachers were fired because they dared to question the owners mistreatment. My experience was a nightmare and I want to warn other parents so that they stay away from the place and not harm their children.\r\n\r\n

I had my daughter attend the school for part time program. The teachers are wonderful, although they lost some teachers during our stay, but they kept the quality of program high by hiring new teachers with same caring and loving nature. They have good security system of biometric reader, that made me feel safer. Whole staff made our first school experience great for us.\r\n\r\nThey keep doing little things for families which makes the enviornment charged up for kids.\r\n\r\noverall experience just great.
