I went to Buddhas Belly for the first time a couple months ago. I really liked the name of the place and how they had statues of fat little buddhas everywhere (kinda how i felt after eating their food lol).
The food was nothing amazing but still tasted pretty good.
I ordered the Crispy Chicken Breast and my friend ordered the Pad Thai.
The chicken was cooked well but was a little too dry for my taste. It came with a side of broccoli, cucumbers, and rice with edamame in it. The teriyaki sauce was unique in flavor and so was the orange-ginger sauce.
My friend said that the Pad Thai was the best dish they had (she goes there a lot). It was basically chicken, shrimp, noodles, peanuts, and some kind of sauce.
For dessert, we ordered a chocolate fondue type of thing that came with small slices of cheesecake and some fruit. The fruit tasted fresh but the chocolate was a little weird.
The staff at Buddhas Bell were very friendly and brought everthing promptly. The place is dimly lit with nice decorations around.
I just wish the quality of the food was better.
