The clothes are not cute enough and the deals are not great enough that it is worth subjecting yourself to the ridiculous lines that they have on a consistent basis. It is not that they are getting inordinate amounts of customers, it is that they refuse to open enough registers. They will watch you lined up, standing for half an hour or more without ever feeling compelled to open any of the empty registers that are staring at you. It is ridiculous and I will not be back.

Pros: none

Cons: extremely long waits for no reason

I love H&M! The clothing is so cute and affordable. I have purchased many items from there that I have been very happy about. I recently bought a pencil skirt for only $25 that has lasted me a year without any rips or holes. They often have great sales. If you really dig, you can always find great deals on tops and pants. I would strongly recommend this store.

I have always enjoyed shopping at H&M when traveling to New York so I was enthused when the retailer came to Atlanta. However, the prices aren't as good as I remembered and the clothes are ill-fitting and poorly made.

This is not the worst thing about H&M though. On several occasions, i have stood in line at the register for an inordinate amount of time and have had to leave before making my purchase because the lines weren't moving. In the event that I could spare 20 minutes waiting in line, when I reach the register, the clerk is almost always rude and abrupt with me and the other customers around me. I've seen two other shoppers have altercations with the clerk and have had one myself. On a recent trip to H&M, the clerk asked ME, "do you have a problem or something? Because you're give me a lot of attitude." This while i was saying nothing. On the same trip, while looking at some sweaters a shelf stocker ran into me with a clothes cart on wheels, didn't apologize then began removing the very sweaters I was looking through. All this without so much as an "excuse me" or a word.

I will never shop at H&M again. I encourage anyone who's had the same miserable experience in this poorly managed store to let the investors and managers know. It's a shame because on the right day, you may be able to find an item or two with a good price. It will fall apart on you and won't fit correctly but you get what you pay for, right?

Pros: some bargains on unique clothing

Cons: rude sales staff, long waits at register...not worth it

H&M has finally arrived at Atlantic Station, for us intowners. Often referred to as the IKEA of clothers, this two level jewel does not disappoint. Women's on the spot, at the moment looks-frilly skirts, short shorts, tops, and accessories make up the first level. Men's is on the second, with jeans, shirts, and suit separates the young working dudes can afford. Thankfully, as fast as fashion trends change, you can afford these changing looks, without maxing out the credit cards. It's no more Old Navy here at Atlantic Station, but H&M, with a European flair, that everyone can afford.
