The Democrat and the Trailer park (get it trashy with queso, duh) are my favorite tacos hands down. Not the cheapest tacos in town but Torchy's never disappoints.

A little on the pricey side, but their unique menu makes up for it. Fried Avocado & Baja Shrimp totally hit the spot. The MIgas are good to. I could get fat going here too often.

I love Torchy's and am glad that it is expanding. My favorites are the Green Chile Pork and Fried Avocado. Make sure to try the queso. I would like to see more locations.

Torchy's is so wrong, and so right: a fried avocado "dirty style" (covered in queso) is just the tip of this taco heaven iceberg.

The Dirty Sanchez and the Trailer Park are my favorite, although lately I've been getting the Ranch Hand alot. The tacos are great, I don't think they are expensive, but I only need one to be full. Love it!

Some of the tastiest tacos I've had in Austin! I just wish there was one further south so I could go more often.

Green chili pork was outstanding. Great food, really cheap & they don't nickle and dime you on ingredients on breakfast tacos. You choose as many ingredients as you want - taco is the same price.
Only downside - if you are lucky enough to get a parking spot, you have to risk your life backing blindly onto Guadelupe to exist the lot.

Pros: GREAT & CHEAP

Cons: No parking, can get crowded

Message from Torchy's Tacos

Torchy's Tacos started in 2006 with a mobile trailer, a little red Vespa, and a man with a passion for good food. The founder, Mike Rypka, left an executive chef position to chase his dreams by investing everything he had into Torchy's Tacos. With a new, experimental menu ready to serve but no mouths to feed, Rypka jumped on his Vespa and started throwing out samples in an attempt to draw customers to his trailer. Before he knew it, people were rallying beside the taco stand hollering, "damn these tacos are good!" and the Torchy's Tacos' legacy began.
