Marco's Pizza was really good. The auethentic old country taste can't be beaten. The pie is great and the antipasti is even better.

WOW!!! This is the best pizza I've ever had. I went with some friends to the Denver Museum last night and afterward drove to Marco's thinking it will be far...NOT! The restaurant is centrally located in LoDow (that's lower downtown, for non-locals)...and only 10 minutes from the Museum. We were seated right away even though it was Saturday night; the service was great and friendly. We had two different pizzas...the Toscana pizza was the best...YUMMM. The price was reasonable...not cheap but not too expensive. The only down side was the noise...very crowded and loud at times...the setting it's more like a bar/grill style, that may be why. I don't care...I'll bring ear plugs next time but I AM definitely coming back!

The decor, the service and the food are all fantastic. All the wait staff are friendly and professional. Our hostess Samantha is a gem and Mark & Kristy, the owners, made us feel like we were family. I was in Denver for 5 days and ate at Marco's 3 times. I went there straight from the airport and met some relatives, We left the ordering to Mark, the very personable owner, who brought out a number of pies, an antipasto and an order of Coal Fired Lemoncello Chicken Wings. Everything was so fresh and tasted so good. I'd be hard pressed to pick my favorite pizza. The Del Re with Truffle and porciini mushroom peccorino sardo spread was incredibly delicious as was the Toscana Pizza. The Wings were to die for. The Nutella Pizza was fantastic. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I tasted the Dolce Pizza, which is another dessert pizza, (not yet on the menu). Eventually I got around to trying the meatball sliders. lasgna and a marvelous salad with pears, apples and walnuts, all were so delicious. You can tell all the food here is made with love and the best and freshest ingredients, many imported from Italy. They also have a special lunch deal which includes a Margarita Pizza, salad and soft drink for about $9. Hey Guys, I live in Brooklyn, so I know good pizza, but Marco's is true neopolitan pizza and better than anything I've had in NYC in years. I can't wait to get to Denver just to eat at Marco's.

This is a upscale pizza/italian restaurant where you can get athentic thin crust pizza like you find in Italy. It is always bustling with alot of customers and feels like a fun place to go for dinner. We felt comfotable bringing our kids beacuse of that atmosphere but I think my son likes to play with the chairs on casters alittle too much! The pizza isn't cheap but I had the Toscana and loves it! You have to have the lemoncello chicken wings.

Marco's is a remarkable find! Its thin-crust pizzas are all excellent, but try the "del rey." It is a white pizza with fresh basil and prosciutto on top, and white truffles mixed in with the cheese. Marco's also features the tastiest chicken dish available in Denver -- the lemoncello chicken wings. I scan the menu each time, but always go back to the wings/del rey combination.

Sauce was lacking any real distinctive flavor. Toppings were good but slim. Cheese was good but also slim. However the price was healthy at $11.00 for a plain pizza with nothing and $2.50 each for a small portion of toppings. Nice try but not your father's pizza from Italy.

I looked up this place before visiting Denver and wanted to go there and try the pizza. The ingredients tasted fresh and the method of using the coal fired oven to bake the pizza was different and yet extremely tasty. We ordered a salad and split it so that we wouldn't kill our appetite and ordered a pizza. The pizza was so good that we had to order another pizza. They give you olive oil or balsamic vinegar to put on the pizza (not that it needs it) but it was nice to take the crust and "sop up" the bits of pizza that were left on the plate with the olive oil. Bartenders were way cool and I actually got to meet the owner. He is a very nice man and the next time I am in Denver I will be sure to visit this place again.

Good pizza in Denver? As a dyed-in-the-wool New Yorker, I was skeptical. But this coal-oven pizza was delicious. Great thin crust, authentic sauce, and high-quality cheeses make the pizza extra-special. Also, its the only restaurant certified as an authentic Neopolitan restaurant by Verace Pizza Napoletana in Denver. Check it out~!

My husband and I were in Denver for a conference this summer. Being used to the Tampa and Orlando chain restaurants, we were looking for something we didn't have back home. I found this restaurant online one afternoon, so we decided to visit it and then take a walk downtown.

The imported meats and cheeses on the antipasto platter were amazing. Almost a meal in itself. We both ordered our own pizzas since we couldn't agree on one. These were the best pizzas we've ever had. This is not the pathetic fast-food imitation pizza...it's a gourmet experience.

The entire wait staff was courteous and efficient. Loved the atmosphere, and really needed the walk downtown by the time we were finished.

The owner's daughter is in college down here in FL, so we are hoping the family might consider opening a restaurant in the Tampa area!

We have tried most of the pizza's and have yet to find a flaw! The limoncello rosemary wings are excellent and we order them every time. We have picked up pizzas for takeout - and they can get a bit soggy on the drive home. We recommend enjoying the food there. Get there early, they always have a wait!
