The price is about right for you get, but I'd rather pay about 50% more and go to Henry's or Pappadeux's for cajun food. The bread pudding does rock, but you can get great bread pudding at Henry's. BTW, Keegan's Pub has the best bread pudding in town...it's made with Krispy Kreme doughnuts! :)

Pros: Never busy, awesome bread puddinig

Cons: Soft shell crabs aren't 'cleaned', main courses aren't great

Typically, I'm really critical whenever I see Cajun and Blackened together. It usually means burnt :) Ji Bou Te definitely knows the difference. The Louisiana culture and atmosphere shines through time you enter the door. The owners were extremely gracious and accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant to any Louisiana transplants looking for authentic cajun food or if you love good food in general. It's close to Marietta Square and Kennesaw. Be on alert or you may miss it. It's in a shopping center, on the end. The blackened chicken poboy is to die for!!

The food is a great representation of what you would get in New Orleans. Decent prices and atmosphere....We were all really impressed with our dishes. There are a lot of options on the menu so I definitely want to go back.

Pros: Food, service

Cons: Location, seating in the restaurant

Great little cajun joint nestled inside a new shopping center about a mile from downtown Marietta's Square. You can't find many cajun restaurants, much less ones with authentic cajun food. I had the delicious grilled grouper with a cream sauce from heaven. My boyfriend had the crawfish etouffee and it was great too! My only suggestions would be to add a small tv for the bar area and maybe some more beautiful murals down the long hall to boost the atmosphere. We even had a chance to meet the owner's husband, Phillip, who was extremely friendly. Can't wait to make this our local cajun hangout!

Yes, it's in a strip mall but don't let that scare you. The food is tasty, authentic, and decent portions. The menu is simple but has the traditional favorites along with some nice dishes that bode well with the homemade sauces. The portions are good and the flavors are definately there. The inside has booths and a few tables and a mural on one wall the rest of the walls are painted yellow but the place is clean. They serve only wine and beer and the servers are friendly and knowledgeable, and enjoy being there. If you are looking for someplace easy, simple and tasty, go.

Great menu selection and a home cooked taste of authentic cajun food. Service was efficient. Make it a regular stop. Great gumbo.

My name is Michelle and I consider myself a cajun cuisine expert. I grew up in Baton Rouge. I have lived in the Atlanta area for 4 years and have been looking for a good Cajun food resturaunt since we came and have been rather unsuccessful. We tried Ji Bou Te Cajun Cafe and were very impressed. The atmosphere is casual. They have both local (Sweetwater) and Louisiana (Abita) beers on draft! HUGE PLUS! They also have all the major should be dishes of a Cajun cafe including Gator Bites, Crawfish dip, Etouffe, Jambalaya, Gumbo (both chicken and sausage and seafood!), fried dishes, blackened dishes, bread pudding, and will even carry boiled crawfish during the upcoming crawfish season! (The bread pudding with a caramel bourbon sauce was the best I've ever had and I've had a lot of bread pudding in my time) In addition to the cuisine, the place is colorful, the service is excellent, the owners are New Orleans natives from the 9th Ward, and there is classic Zydeco playing nicely in the background. They also have an extensive take out menu for those late night Cajun cravings! I highly recommend this cute, Mom and Pop owned, fabulous food cafe and can't wait to return or bring some gumbo home! Try it for yourself. I assure you, you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I discovered this little gem and have quickly made it a once a week stop! The food and service is great. We love the fresh food, especially the salmon and garlic cheese grits. We've tried many different dishes and have loved them all. For this Louisiana girl..............this place hits the mark!

The food is very good. I would recommend it to anyone. If you miss New Orleans flavor, this is the place to be...they have the flavor. It's the best kept secret in Marietta. My 2008 NYE's is to have at least three (3) or four (4) meals a month (when i'm not traveling).

There's some good food in Cobb County!!!!
