Everyone in the area should check out this Maid-Rite for both sit down and take out service! The man running it is very friendly and takes pride in his restaurant. Maid-Rite is a little out of place in the Ozarks although there are locations in West Plains and Rolla. There was once one in Springfield I hear, but the owner apparently didn't run it well.

I grew up with Maid-Rite in my hometown of Lexington, MO and was happy when this one opened in Lebanon. Most Maid-Rites are old run down shacks or worn out drive-ins located in rural areas of the Mid-West. Maid-Rite is one of the oldest fast food franchises and the first with with carhop service locations. This one is a new sit-down/take-out restaurant and very clean.

I ate a Maid-Rite burger, made just like they should be made, with no ketchup. I also had cheese curds, known as cheddar-rites at my hometown Lexington Maid-Rite. Then I had a great strawberry shake, all for very reasonable prices.
