I searched many jewelers in the S.D. area. I walked in to the store, not sure how I wanted my wedding ring upgraded. We finally came up with a custome setting. I had to wait 2-3 weeks for the ring. Wondering if I made the right choice. When they gave me my new ring, I jumped up and down with delight. I even started to cry. It was so beautiful. My ceneter stone (emerald cut) was raised and outlined with small little diamonds. They put my trillions on the sides of the bands with diamonds going around the band. I love it. I still look at my ring every day. Thank you soo much David & Sons.

From the moment I walked in, Emil and his staff were extremely helpful. As this was my first purchase of an engagement ring, I was a bit nervous. I brought in several different photos of what my girlfriend liked and disliked and we went from there. Emil was very knowledgeable, imformative and took what I wanted to heart. The result was a ring that my fiance will never forget!

My husband and I both got our wedding bands at David and Sons and we couldn't be happier. Mine turned out beautiful and everyone always makes comments about it; especially about how it sparkles so much. Everytime we go into the store everyone is always SO helpful and genuinely friendly- they even offer to clean my rings for me whenever we are there. We plan to use them again in the near future- they really are top notch and do amazing work!

My first purchase was at the old location in Downtown Chula Vista. The recommendation came from a friend. I was nervous because I did not know much about fine jewelry and did not want to get taken. This was over twenty years ago, and I have never shopped anywhere else. Edmund in Chula Vista and now Emil at UTC treat me like an old friend every time I come in even if just for a cleaning or jewelry inspection. This year, I introduced my daughter and her fiance to Emil and Fay. Now the next generation has a jeweler they can trust. They purchased a wedding ring as well!

This is the only jewelery store I go into. They are very friendly and professional. The rings are gorgeous! They made my engagement ring and I am VERY happy with it. I recommend them to everyone I know.

I'm skeptical about a lot of things, and I usually don't like shopping. But when I went to David & Sons with my fiance to select rings, I have to say that I was impressed. Emil (you'll use his first name too after you go there!) walked us through our options (we're young and have modest incomes) and after just thirty minutes or so my fiance had on the absolutely perfect ring. We were shocked that we could afford a center stone of that quality and size, but thanks to Emil's advice, we could. He was up front with us and said that for our budget, we would either have to go for a smaller center stone, or skimp on the plushness of the side diamonds in the setting. He was right, and our ring is absolutely perfect.

In an age of big box retailers (I've posted reviews on several sites, so this phrase might sound familiar), a local business with great service and good prices deserves some business. Give Emil and his tight-knit team a shot. You won't be disappointed.

I have stared longingly at the beautiful rings in the windows of David and Sons for 3 years now. They have the most amazing settings. I looked at so many stores and I never found anything that compared. My fiance and I ended up working with Emil. He helped us find my perfect ring and gave it to us for a great price. I'm so glad that I can go into David and Sons for the rest of my life and have my ring polished/checked. I'm just so happy!

Out of all the stores we visted for an engagement ring, David and Sons was hands down the best one in town. NIcest people, great service, very accomidating, and offer no pressure to buy. I will never look any other place for any kind of ring, necklace, bracelet, anything ever again. Highly recomend visiting.

I went to look for an engagement ring and I dont know much about jewelry but my girlfriend does. I researched different plcaes on the Internet and found David and Sons had amazing reviews so I went to check it out.

Everyone one there was amazingly nice and helpful. They explained the differences in quality and price and showed me tons of rings and loose diamonds. Even getting some out of the safe to show me. I finally decided on one and they gave me a terrific price. I had looked at general prices on line before going in and theres was better. I went in on a Sunday afternoon. They said they would have it ready by Saturday. They had it ready the next day.

Since they had it ready so soon I moved up my proposal plans only to realize Monday night that I had given them the wrong size. I was leaving on Tuesday night with my girlfriend on a trip where i was going to propose. Emil had given me his card with his cell phone number and I called him. He said to bring the ring in. I took it to them on Tuesday around 11:30 am on my lunch break and they had it ready when I got off at 4pm. I cant say enpugh good things about David and Sons. I cant imagine any other place that would offer this kind of quality and Service.

My Wife and I have made a number of puchases from David & Sons over the years. From diamond rings to necklesses and braclets. Emil and his staff have always been very professional and courteous. However the main thing that has always impressed us is that we never feel pressured to buy but when we do buy the prices are always vey fair and the quality is EXCEPTIONAL. They go above and beyond to make sure we are satisfied. Whenever we are looking for jewerly we go directly to David & Sons and don't waste our time looking anywhere else.

I love this place, high quality pieces without over the top prices like other Jewelers. My fiance bought my custom-made engagement ring here. My fiance came in with a picture and within a week they had the prototype to make sure its what he wanted. later came in and got a wedding bands there too. They also have a great selection of ready-made pieces too. They are not pushy and truly help you get what you want on your budget. We have referred many friends family to the store all left happy with excellent pieces. Ask for Emil he is the best!

My fianc? shopped all over So. Cal for my engagement ring! He went and visited jewelry dealers in LA and in the OC and they just could not beat the quality and price that Emil offered him. The best part is the jewelry stores location is close to my home and where I love to shop - UTC mall. Every time I am in the mall shopping I stop in and they clean my ring and check to make sure the diamond prongs are stable. Very friendly staff and all their jewelry is so beautiful and unique! If you are in the need to buy jewelry do yourself a favor and go check out David and Sons you will not be disappointed!!

David & Son's is a great little family owned jewelers at the UTC mall. All the staff are very friendly and extremely knowledgable about what they sell. A work colleague recommended it to me. I have bought several pieces of jewelry for myself and for gifts over this past year, and am very happy with my purchases. As well as lovely jewelry/diamonds, they also have very fair prices. You deal with the owners.

Emil, Faye and the rest of the staff at David and Sons are professional, honest, and a pleasure to work with. The quality and price of their diamonds is unparalleled. In addition, they special ordered a very specific Saphire for us that was higher quality than any other Saphire we saw - including Tiffany's Saphires!!!

Thomas (the in-house jewler) created my fiance's engagement ring and diamond wedding band to her exact specifications. She wanted specific settings and very low profile and his work far exceeded her expectations.

We will continue to frequent David and Sons for all of our jewlery needs and recommend David and Sons to all!!! There is no better jewler in San Diego!

David and Sons Jewelers is the only place I would shop for fine jewelry in San Diego!

I recently purchased my fiance's engagement ring from David and Sons. Angela walked us through the entire process. She helped my fiance custom build her perfect ring. My fiance found one style she liked, but preferred the diamonds from another. David and Sons took the diamonds from one ring, and made her diamond engagement ring. You can't beat service like that. The ring was ready within two weeks and the look on my fiance's face let me know that I had made the right decision!

We went back to David and Sons and purchased our wedding bands as well. Again, they had exactly the style we wanted and Angela helped us through the entire process.

If you don't know much about diamonds and jewelery, go to David and Sons. They're trustworthy, do fantastic work, and won't rip you off like the chain stores. The price I paid for the engagement ring and wedding band was unbeatable as well. If you are going to make a serious jewelry purchase, you need to stop by David and Sons.

My wife loves going into David and Sons , not only to buy diamonds, but to get her jewelry cleaned for free. Other places you have to buy a service plan to get your jewelry cleaned and checked, but with them it's all free, even if you lose a small diamond they will replace for free, that's right free. I will never buy anywhere else, like Nordstrom or Whitehall, with all those fees they charge for service on your pieces. David and Sons are simply the best when it comes to jewelry. Thank you.

I have been looking and looking..and looking for the perfect ring. I went to all the jewelry stores around town, believe me I did my homework, I even made a list of the different prices, color & clarity grades from each store. Then I walked into D&S and almost slapped myself for wasting all that time running around to all the other stores. This place is the real deal, great diamonds at even better prices...like Emil says, "I will beat any price out there just come in and see me." Thanks D&S and Emil for the great service and the perfect ring!! You should at the very least put them on your list of places to stop by, trust me, you won't be disappointed.

I have to share my thoughts since I have been SO happy with David and Sons Jewelers. They are an EXCELLENT jeweler. My husband designed my engagement and wedding ring and as he expected, turned out perfect! I couldn't agree more. I do recall my husband changing the design a couple of times and each time he did, David and Sons accommodated without hesitance.

Since then (2007), I have been back for cleanings and check up's and each time, feel very welcomed... never pushy. Yes, I am picky and don't have a lot of time in my day. Regardless of this, they come through and make me a priority! Not usually the case with most jewelry stores unless you want to pay for it. Emil and his very talented jeweler/artist, Thomas, are amazing to work with.

On top of the outstanding service, the prices are fantastic without sacrificing on the product. You will NOT pay a mark up just because they are in a great location like you would with neighboring jewelers. Hubby knows... he checked them all!

I?ve been searching for and engagement ring now for months and wasn?t able to find anything that I like. Then I visited David and Sons and was amazed by the selection they had. Their selection surpassed all other jewelry store including Robins Bro. Their craftsmanship was and customer service is the best I have ever seen. The sales people were very educated in what they were selling and had great attitudes. Their prices are the best in town. I ended up paying the same amount of money but I got the best quality, whereas other jewelry stores I would have had to settle for mediocre quality for the price I paid. I was got the engagement ring I?ve been dreaming of, and I Love it. They are my #1 Jewelry Store.

The first time I visited David and Son?s I had a great experience. I was just browsing and wasn?t going to purchase right away. That didn?t matter to the staff! They educated me on diamonds and types of gold/platinum. I never felt pressured to buy anything. That is why I came back with my now fiance. We purchased our ring from them and when choosing the diamond we were able to look at loose stones. This was very important to me. I wanted to make sure I was getting the best stone for the best price. I looked on Blue Nile for diamonds as well, but David and Son?s beat their price and their quality. Overall the experience was great and the service was even better!
