Went there late one night with my girlfriend simply based on the name. Boy were we surprised. Never eaten burgers like these anywhere. Would be difficult to duplicate at home, even with the right ingredients. No. 1 in my book.

I have been here before and have had the regular cheeseburgers. Tried the venison and buffalo once. Very tasty. This time I let the chef talk me into trying the new Wild Boar burger. I couldn't understand everything he was saying (real think german accent) but I could tell he sure was excited to be offering up his latest creation!

So he brought it to me, along with a side of crazee fries and a tall Stone IPA. I was expecting it to be good, but it might just be my new fav. It came with bacon and mushrooms and some other toppings and was extremely juicy. It had great flavor, was a lot more mild than venison for example. Almost had a little bit of the consistency of ground pork, but didn't have as strong a pork flavor. Does that make sense?

Anyway, I'd definitely get it again.

Amazing burger experience. You can literally get a burger any way you want, don't be scared jump right in.

This is a place everyone should try although it will be your call as to whether or not you try it again. :) Unique burger options like ostrich and aligator. Regular burgers are good but nothing to call home about. Atmosphere is fun, staff is helpful. Overall good, not great.

I heard about this place from one of my friends that watched it on Food Network channel. We ordered a regular cheese burger with beef, ostrich, and venison burgers. Very good! They definitely have delicious and adventurous burgers here, not to mention that their fries are delicious. It's a very small restaurant with very little seating and it is very busy. Also you'd probably have to find some street parking, but you should definitely try it!

One of the best burger joints in San Diego. The place itself is very small, but well worth a trip if you're craving a great, delicious burger. The prices aren't that expensive either, ~$8-10 for a full meal, including fries and a soda.

Crazee Burger was a pretty good burger joint. It was something out of the ordinary Mc. Donald's/In n Out. They serve a wide variety of different meats to go with your patty like alligator meat, crab meat, deer meat, and ostrich meat. The list goes on!

The parking there is limited. It has a small parking space and it gets really busy at night. Inside the restaurant, they squeeze a lot of chairs in and you get packed like sardines.

If you were going there with a big group, good luck finding seats. I recommend ordering to-go and eating somewhere else.

I'd recommend ordering the Nacho Burger. It's my favorite burger there. It comes with a burger patty, hash brown patty, nacho cheese, and jalapenos.

Overall, good quality food, and not so great to dine in.

If you like to try new things, then this is a good place. They have kangaroo, crab, gator, buffalo, and others. Some of their burgers could be better if they added more of their great sauces to them. I would suggest to order to-go because the place is quite small and you probably won't find a place if you have more than three people with you. However, if you do, then it is a nice place to go have a beer and a new exciting burger and watch the game on TV at the bar.

If I could, I would probably give this place 3.75 stars. We went here today because we wanted to try something different..and this place serves unique burgers. They have burgers like Buffalo, Ostrich, Gator, Kangaroo...among others.

I personally tried the Buffalo and the half lamb/half beef burger. The Buffalo burger was good...it wasn't bursting with flavor, but it was good...and different. The half lamb/beef burger basically tasted like a gyro on a bun...and I love gyros, so it was a plus. But because it wasn't any different from a gyro, it wasn't as great as I thought it was gonna be.

They have happy hour every weekday from 3-6 and on fridays and Saturdays its 9pm til 11pm. We tried their bratwurst on a bun happy hour special for $2.99 and it was pretty tasty. So I would definitely recommend getting that if you go during happy hour since its so cheap.

Their parmesan fries are also very delicious. I tried a lot of fries from a lot of different places...but these are definitely worth getting. So next time you are in North Park, grab a unique burger, a brat and some fries and enjoy!!!

We went here after seeing the place on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives; and we were not at all disappointed. On our first venture out, I tried the venison burger and my husband had the elk. We wanted beer, but didn't know what was going to go well with our particular burgers. The guy taking our order heard our discussion and was able to recommend a good beer to complement the burgers....and he let us sample the beer as well. His recommendations were right on!\n\nOn our second visit, we brought a couple of friends and between us tried the elk and venison again, as well as alligator and buffalo. Husband loved the alligator, but I'll stick with the venison every time.\n\nThe fries aren't included with the burgers, but I don't mind paying for them separately to get exactly what I want. They offer both regular and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries are awesome. They've got parmesan cheese sprinkled on top and it's a big order, so enough to share between at least two people.

Diners Drive ins and Dive raved about this place. Possibly they just were having a bad day in the kitchen when I went. kangaroo burger was thin with a watery 'horseradish' sauce.\n\nIf you want an odd selection of meats and want to be able to say to friends, ""I ate ostrich, 'gator', buffalo or elk"", then this might be the place to go.\n\nOnions rings were heavy with oil and were a disappointment, but oddly the fries were great. Sort of a hit and a miss.

My first time at this place I'm open minded. Go in sit down at the bar with my friends read the menu. I felt the burgers were a bit on the pricey side at 5.49 for a regular burger...but you get no fries with that...not even a little pile...you have to order them separate..which of course costs more. Well let that one go and ordered a #10...burger with pepper jack cheese and an order of fries. Well although somewhat speedy on the delivery of the food...the guy who gives you your plate does'nt even give you napkins. At all. You have to get up and go get them for yourself..along with any other condiments you might enjoy with your burger and fries. Then my friend asks if he can order another beer..considering we had been sitting there eating already. The man pointed to the line and said you have to wait in line and order another. No this could be a crazy thought...but if someone is already eating your food the last thing they probably want to do is sit in line to order another drink. They cant evan get you one drink...or a refill. But yet sits a tip jar at the front where you order...and I can't help but question...what are you getting tipped for? If I can't even get a refill you surely don't deserve a tip. Get real and get better service then maybe you can live in Hodads shadow.....good luck!

Pros: Unique Excellent Burgers

Where else can you got 30 different burgers, all with their own unique flavor and freshly-made gourmet sauces? My current favorite is the Texas with hickory BBQ and and the Forestierre with mushrooms (I add swiss of course!)\r\n\r\nOther reviews have mentioned all the meats you can get so I won't cover that again. But I will say that the Pork Loin sandwich with roasted red pepper pesto is amazing! A bargain at $6.25, it is only $3.99 during happy hour.\r\n\r\nDaily happy hour 3p-6p was awesome, but now it is also 9p-11p friday and saturday! They have a lot of happy hour food and drink deals.\r\n\r\nSee their full menu at tioliscrazeeburger website!

You can have like 20 styles of Veggie burger here - the owner will do any of their variations minus the meat, for the heart-conscious. The best part is - all 5 or 6 that I've tried are juicy and DELICIOUS! I love the intimate hideaway feel, and there's a very nice wine menu. Tons for the beer fans, too!

Focuses on burgers only, and they do them very well indeed. Menu is broadranging, from ordinary cheeseburger to buffalo, lamb, turkey. Everything I've had was done perfectly as ordered (medium or well). Good selection of wine & beer, very reasonable prices. Higly recommended.

this burger joint looks a little weird ont he outside, and the decor is a little cheesy. but as far as burgers go, this is up there with the best in san diego. i'd still rather go to hodad's, but Tioli's is super fun too....nice guys int he kitchen, perfectly pink burgers and just another example of why North Park is where it's at!
