We stopped by while shopping in the Reading Terminal. We were looking for Jumbo Shrimp and found some of the biggest and most succult shrimp I have ever seen. We also go thick cut of fresh tuna. Everything is fresh and cut to order.

I don't eat a lot of fish, and I don't come to Philly that often, so when I'm here I like to treat myself. When I visited the Reading Terminal Market (this stall is in there, near the Pennsylvania General Store), and saw this clean, nice store with its eye-catching displays of fish, I just had to stop by. I chatted with the clerk, who was very friendly, and she informed me that they get fresh fish early in the morning (my halibut just came in today!), and they cut it into pieces for you. Everything here was amazing; surely I will be coming back. All the stuff was so pretty, and everything looked so tantalizing. You can tell that this is a high quality merchant. My only dislike about this store is its prices: $10.99 a pound for Halibut is really pushing my limit, I am not such a good cook that it's worth buying me something THAT good on a regular basis. The quality of the fish here beats that of most supermarkets, and is on par with what I see at Whole Foods. (for a lot more money)
You haven't truly experienced the joy of shopping for seafood until you've seen the rich red color of salmon here, or the pure white of the halibut.
