i never think pizza like this would be found in texas. Just perfect. But when we walked in, and smelled the pizza, I knew something good was coming our way. This is the real thing, with real Italian's working behind the counter. Thin

I used to go to Ferrari's about once a month with my family.

However, my bank statement showed that I had been overcharged by 50% on April 16th for a meal at Ferrari's Pizzeria. I have both the bank statement and the restaurant receipt to show the overcharge.

When I called the restaurant, I was told the owners were on vacation and no one could help me until they returned. When the owners didn't call, I followed up and was told that they would not reverse the overcharge on my card. Instead,

I could waste my time going back to the restaurant to get a cash refund or store credit. The proper response would have been to reverse the overcharge.

The food is okay...nothing to write home about. However, their business practices are unethical.

I am from the Bronx, NY area and have been in search for the Best Pizza in Texas and finally someone had told me about Ferrari"s family owned pizza restaurant, so I took it upon myself and drove 67 miles to taste the best pizza and they were so right! I told the owner this is fantastic...finally...I am in Heaven now. Not only the pizza is delicious but their chicken parmesan was out of this world and made me feel like I was back home in New York. I took home 2 large pizzas and gave some to my neighbors and they definitely agreed with me and will take the drive up to Plano.
We will be back this weekend along with friends

I have been to Ferrari's Pizzeria about 2 dozen times since they opened.I have recommended the place to a few friends who live in the area. I live in Frisco so whenever I'm in that area I try and get a pizza. I ordered a large pie a few days ago and noticed how expensive the large cheese pizza was. I checked my reciept and was shocked to see they charged me $1.25 for extra sauce. Now I know extra means extra, but for sauce on a pizza????? !!!! I'm from New York and lived in the city for 13 years and I'm used to being charged for every little thing but I have NEVER been charged for a little xtra sauce on a pizza. When I called today I asked the young lady on the phone if this charge for the extra sauce was correct and she stated a flat "yes"
When I told her I had never heard of anything like that before she pretty much told me " well that's the price bye bye " and hung up on me.
I just didn't want to make it a big deal because I don't have the time or patience to argue with someone who has zero common sense on how to deal with customer service issues. As a teenager I have worked in my families deli back in New Jersey and I know how difficult it is running a family business so I decided to write this review and hopefully the owners see this and try to fix this problem becuase I won't be back and I will no longer patronize your business. Granted I was not a regular customer due to location but I recommened a lot of customers there and I know for a fact they went there to try it.
Her flat tone and bye bye response was so rude. Charging for extra sauce on a pizza is absurd, Cheese I understand, extra toppings I understand but sauce ! That's like my parents charging people at the old shop extra for oil and vinegar on somebody sandwich ! The reason I asked for extra sauce was because your pizza men go light on the sauce. Nonetheless I won't be back. In this economic struggle I'm suprised at Ferrari's customer service. I'm suprised at how associates that work there can't offer and explanantion of why the charge and in a proffesional manner. You lost maybe not the best customer because of location I couldn't come frequently but you also lost my word of mouth that I spread. Good Luck guys, one day you'll need it.

This family owned business serves great food with a great attitude! My family and I love to sit on the patio during the spring and summer, especially on Fridays (pizza night :). Everything we've tried has been delicious and the service is prompt and friendly. My daughter loves their pizza--a slice is practically a meal on it's own!
