About two weeks ago around seven or seven thirty, I went into the dollar general store and the employee (Yolanda) didn't give me the correct change. I didn't realize this until I walked out the store not even five minutes. I was back in the store asking to speak to someone about the missing change ($20) that was due to me. The clerk called the manager, she then begin to count the clerks draw. According to her the draw was not short. The manager then told the clerk (Yolanda) to take down my name and number that the morning manager will get back to me. The next day I had not heard from anyone from the store. So about 10:00 I decided to call him myself. I was then told they left him a note that read "a black woman said she didn??t receive her correct change for him to review the surveillance tap."He said he had seen the tape but that there were two black women and he didn't know which I was. He said he would review the tape and see if the cashier had counted the change back to me every cashier had been trained to do so. Long story short, I went into the store after work and got my money back. Since this has happened I am being made to feel like I did something wrong are like I am a criminal. The cashier leaves the register every time I come to check out and go get the manager. I then over hear her and the manger talking about me in front of other customers. I think this is very very unprofessional and unfair to me. When I am a great customer and spend a great deal of monies in this store.
