I have been here many times even though it is not the best or even great sushi. They are very close to where I live, and it's easy. Udon soup was really good. The rest is just kinda so so. Don't order the pork dumpling. They were nasty.

Pros: quick, friendly staff, great location

Cons: having to order and pay first

Took my sister too Little Miyako's at Meyerland Plaza for a bit of sushi one day. Upon walking through the door, we were greeted with a set-up atypical too fast food restaurants with a cute Japanese pop song playing over their one speaker (probably a song by Ayumi Hamasaki). I started off with a piece each of maguro, hamachi, 'tai', and abako/shiro-maguro while my sister ordered their Sesame Chicken Bento. Too start off, I never really expected much of Little Miyako's too begin with, but their food was exceptionally terrible today. As with any low-class restaurants, my 'tai' or "red snapper" in their English translation, was actually Izumi-dai, or Tilapia. The maguro and hamachi had a metallic taste too it, as if they rubbed the things over their stainless-steel work benches; the maguro is yellow-fin btw. The shiro-maguro had a very slight fishy taste, signifying that the maguro was a little past it's prime.
Next up came our sesame chicken bento. The chicken tasted like it had come from a chinese recipe and the sweet and sour sauce that was slathered all over our egg rolls was simply tasteless; it did nothing more than too add an unsightly red glaze and made our rolls soggy. The only thing remotely reminiscent of Japanese cuisine were the tsukemono and the oversized california rolls. In short, the next time I have a craving for slightly over-priced Chinese food with a small and rather unnoticeable Japanese twist, Little Miyako's and all their branches shall be my hotspot for any such desires.
*I will not be coming back*
**I had just dined there, and I feel as if I'm going too be sick tomorrow*"

Pros: For a Japanese restaurant, their Chinese food is spectacular

Cons: Japanese food isn't very... Japanese....

Great place to get a fast meal. Sushi is good and enjoy the udon. I recommend this to everyone. No need to wait for a long time. Workers there are very nice.
