I liked Zippy's a lot when they first opened, and would like to see them succeed. We need a good bakery downtown and they put a lot of work into the buidling.\r
I hope the owners read this because my last few visits were so annoying, that I am afraid they will never survive if they don't make some changes.\r
I've stopped several times to get bakery and there are ALWAYS at least 4, sometimes 5 teenage girls behind the small bakery counter. They are all dressed kind of sloppy. One has piercings in her lips, nose, face and tongue and I find that really gross in a food service establishment. (If I ever ate in the restaurant part and she was my waitress, I would have to leave.) \r
I will tell one of them what I want and they will all try to ""help"" . This consists of one grabbing a bag, one a box, one ringing it up and usually I am asked 3 times what it was that I wanted, what is in the bag, how many., how much are those???? I also had other items besides the box of doughnuts. I don't know how the five of them thought I was going to carry a box of doughnuts and all this other stuff WITHOUT A BAG, but I had to ask for one. It's like the 5 Stooges back there and by the time they were done, I just wanted to scream. I'm one person, and only 1 person, maybe 2 at most, needs to wait on me and provide good service. The rest of you, get away from the counter and go in the kitchen. Never should there be more than 2 of them at the counter. The other day the cook came out there too. No apron. Dirty t-shirt with food and flour all over his shirt and pants. Not professional. \r
So here are the rules if you want to stay in business: Girls, no more than 2 of you behind the counter.\r
Wear matching polo shirts and pants. Hair pulled back from face. Take out your piercings or stay away from the customers. Know your inventory and how much it costs.\r
Cooks, wear clean apron at all times. If it gets all messed up, stay in the kitchen, not at the counter.\r
\r
Finally, I have had great pizza there when they first opened. The next time, the dough was raw in the middle. The next time the dough was overdone. I don't order pizza there any more. It's expensive in comparison to the chain restaurants and I expect it to be cooked right. I'm almost to the point of never buying bakery there either. One more chance and if nothing is different, I am done.

When Zippy's first opened up, I was impressed, it was pretty good pizza. Sometime since then, they changed the sauce. The sauce is SO salty, you will need to drink a ton of water.
Also bought some cookies there for a meeting. Some of them were very stale, dried out and hard.

Ordered a Pizza to go,we are from Phillips.Smelled great couldn't wait to get home to try it,as this was our first visit to Zippys, when we got home we were dissapointed to see that our pizza was over cooked and had some areas of the crust that was burnt. The parts that were not over done were pretty good,we well give zippys another chance, but this time we well ask(nicely) that they please do not over cook the pizza.
