Great place to go for Seafood in Downtown Charlotte. It is kind of pricey but you get what you pay for! Awesome service!

I just had my second meal at GW Fins last night and it was just as good as my memorable first meal.

If you order the Lobster Dumplings, Chilean Sea Bass and Bread Pudding -- I gaurentee you will love it! I can't stop thinking about how good it was.

Everyone at my table loved everything. The service and the wine list were both exceptional!

Just came back from a business trip to Charlotte and had several meals there ... GW Fins was BY FAR the best! The seafood was just about the freshest I've ever tasted and the service was incredible. Their Lobster Dumpling appetizer is now my favorite dish -- so light and so delicious! I was really impressed by their wine list, which had a ton of great wines by the glass -- more than most other upscale restaurants. The prices were really reasonable too. DEFINITELY WORTH A TRIP!!!

just what Charlotte needs, another chain restaurant !? No it wasn't the worst, but seriously, do we need another one of these places? mcCormick and Schmitts, Oceanaire and now this? We've got better fishcamps, better locally owned places, better chefs committed to making Charlotte not just making money. Overall a waste of my money.

Pros: fresh fish, who doesn't have fresh fish these days?

Cons: everything else. really we don't need places like this

One of the better restaurants in Charlotte. Loved the live jazz band, the seafood gumbo and the crabcakes. Good times and the drinks are strong! Go here for a nice night out. Perfect first date spot.
