I have recently taken a taste test of cupcake specialty shops in the Salt Lake area and found Mini's to be the best. I love their variety of flavors, as well as their presentation. I found the flavor to be rich and well rounded. The size of the cupcakes were perfect.

I have gone to Les Madeleine's and their cupcakes do not come close to the richness of Mini's, as Les Madeleine's are rather bland. Diva's cupcakes have an oily taste to their frosting; it does not hold up well like Mini's. And So Cupcakes flavors were horrible. For instance, their red velvet cake had no hint of cocoa, and the frosting was not the traditional cream cheese. In fact, all of their frostings tasted like an over abundance of powdered sugar. Mini's moist cakes and frostings compliment each other very well.

I loved talking to Leslie (the owner) who is so passionate about her cupcakes and making them the best they can possibly be. I appreciate the staff who are always friendly.

I consider myself to be a realistic consumer that knows popular bakeries are probably going to be sold out in the evenings, as well as special holidays, and therefore the smart thing to do is call ahead to make sure your favorite cupcake is available. I have called Mini's several times to make a special order... and they do so quickly and happily. It is also realistic to believe that this is not a coffee shop for lounging. This is a working bakery.

I say kudos to Mini's for their passion, excellent tasting cupcakes, innovation of flavors, quality ingredients, and fantastic service.
