Lindsey took time to listen to my needs and wants (while also taking into account my budget), then making expert recommendations. She was adept at explaining incremental benefits between appliances (e.g., what I would give up or gain with one price point vs. another) -- I felt educated and never pressured on an up-sell. Along the way I had several questions about appliance specs, and Lindsey was always uber prompt and knowledgeable with her responses. I'm exceedingly grateful for Lindsey's warm customer service and expertise -- thank you!!

Ted was very patient and described our options in a comprehensive manner. We had a lot of questions, and lots of appliances to pick out for our pending kitchen remodel. We felt Ted was very honest and upfront about the cost and quality of each item we inquired about. Great overall service!

Could we have been sold used appliances or rejects? We bought 4 new appliances from the Bellevue store. The refrigerator has completely gone out after two months, Al. Lee fixed it but all the food was destroyed and it is now a repaired frig. The oven/micro combo went out, it was determined to be unrepairable--a new one is being installed by Albert Lee. What happens after the 1 yr. warantee goes out and the unrepairable problem comes up again? The "new appliances" arrived with dents on 3 doors--all replaced but the Al. Lee repairman made dents on the hardwood dropping things on the floor. The dents were fixed by another Al. Lee rep. sticking colored putty into the holes. Not an entirely good experience for a pricey cash purchase.

He gave us quotes and information, and then more information when we came back with more questions, and then even more information when we came back again.

Our problems came once we placed our order and made our deposit. We asked for the appliances to be ready for delivery in a couple of weeks, roughly mid January. We were told it would be no problem. Two days before they were to be delivered we were notified by the builder that the oven wasn't available (it was supposed to be here in January). The day before the delivery we got a voice mail saying the oven would arrive March 12th. Almost two months after the request date. However, the Albert Lee folks got things shaken up and the oven was delivered a month after the original request date, but three weeks BEFORE the revised date.

In summary, Smiley did a fine job - I wish they would call and talk, not just leave voice mails with changes.
