This restaurant has potential, but I would suggest waiting a few months until the kinks are worked out. First, they were out of the wine we ordered (which is strange considering they just opened), and they offered a comprable bottle that was significantly more expensive (the right thing to do was to offer this replacement at the same price). Second, we ordered a tomato & mozzarella appetizer that was as bland as possible and hardly edible. Someone else ordered a seafood risotto appetizer, one of the daily specials, and it was the size (and price) of a full-sized meal. Finally, our entrees were all a little strange too. My tuna steak was over a bed of eggplant & zucchini, my favorite, but it had a very heavy, thick sauce that was hard to eat. Someone else ordered a chicken stuffed with shrimp, and the presentation made it almost inedible (shrimp tail coming out of a breaded lump of chicken). Atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff seemed nice, but I can't say I'd go spend my money there again any time soon.

Pros: atmosphere, location

Cons: food quality & preparation

Discovered I Vandali on a Sunday night when i was out for a walk. It looked like it was a cozy place to have dinner and a glass of wine. I checked it out the following Saturday night and I have only wonderful things to say about the place. It is a fairly small restaurant which makes it feel cozy and gives it a local family vibe. on the night i was there, there was a good crowd, slightly older scene. The food was AMAZING. I will definitely be back.

Romantic, ambiant atmosphere. Outstanding customer service, food was excellent, the tiramisou was the best I have ever had, I would definately return and would recommend to all of my friends.
